Wednesday, April 30, 2014. A Place in the Sun. So I guess we're succumbing to the sunshine- we'd better, because according to San Diegans, the higher cost of living here is in fact a "sun tax". Monday, April 21, 2008. The New Kids on the Block. These are the latest additions to the Hooper Family. Tyson "Ty" Gregory Markham ( top picture) was born on April 15 th. Monday, November 30, 2009. This year we went to Grandma Sandy's in Las Vegas for Thanksgiving. She is about to start chemo so she wanted to have everyone celebrate with her. Once she starts treatment, she'll have to be very careful about germs, so we probably won't be able to see her for a while. We had a great time cooking lots of yummy food, playing cards, watching movies, going bowling and shopping, and spending time with each other. It was the best Thanksgiving that I can remember!
