Wednesday, January 18, 2012. One of my favorite finds. My favorite thing about scarves is that even hours after (also days) I use a spray of perfume, I can still smell it on my scarf. Sunday, January 22, 2012. Or so it would seem. We travel from base to base so much (by carpool) that I haven't gotten a chance to explore and even appreciate the city. Tuesday, January 17, 2012. Home is what you make of it. And internet helps too. A view from my window. I haven't had much time for pictures.sad, and not really an excuse, I know. It has just been busy busy busy. I sometimes feel a little stranded here on Little America. We have our own market, library, movie theater, and convenient store. I even hear we have a craft store. This is a little of what it looks like.not really in Germany, but lets just call it the place where I live. My first day, today!

Our Little Lerch Family. Friday, November 9, 2012. This is Brayden's first art project. Kool-aid painting! He did pretty good. He didn't even try to eat the paint brush until the end and that was OK because it was just kool-aid and water! Monday, September 19, 2011. The family's visit to Canada! I'm finally posting pictures from August when the whole Liechty clan came to Saskatchewan for a visit. It was a great time! Everyone walked around the University of Regina where Nuno and I work and we also saw First Nations University of Canada (the only one of its kind in Canada and a federated college of the U of R). Wednesday, July 20, 2011. It has been about 1928317324 days since we blogged, so it's definitely time for an update. We took a mini vacation with the puppies to the Hill Country of Texas. The most beautiful place in Texas I've seen so far. Here are some pictures! We stayed in a little cottage in Kerrville, TX. Our back yard led to the Guadalupe River. This was our view from the back yard. On the way to the river. So pretty, I kept making Ryk stop for pictures! There were a lot of animals and birds!

A lot of the trail was like this:. But really, most of it looked like this:. Here's a few photos of Mary's Lake. Mary's is actually a reservoir for Salt Lake water, so there's a man-made dam. Mary, Margaret, and Catherine Lake Hike. Recommended time of year -. Late July - September. Difficulty of Hike -. Pretty easy, even in the snow.
