Monday, September 26, 2011. Bear Lake Part Three: Faces. Thought i'd post pictures of most of my family members. (Thanks to Annette for the pics of my family at the beginning of this post! I tried to get close ups of everyone but I know I forgot several. This probably represents about 2/3 of everyone. Sorry there are so many, I just have a big family! Friday, September 16, 2011. Bear Lake Part Two. Thursday, September 15, 2011. Bear Lake Part One. So, here are a bunch of some of the kids. We spent plenty...

Kate and Blair: August 2010
http://kateandblair.blogspot.com/2010_08_01_archive.html
Sunday, August 29, 2010. Ella turned two in July! We knew she and I were going to be in Idaho without Blair on her actual birthday (during my trip out west to defend my thesis) so we had a little family celebration 2 weeks before her actual birthday. She didn't know the difference- she was just thrilled to have cupcakes! How old are you? She made off with some fun new toys: a dress up petticoat skirt, sunglasses, a box for sorting wooden shapes, and some blocks for stacking (and pushing over! Here's a fa...

Kate and Blair: Family of Four
http://kateandblair.blogspot.com/2013/02/family-of-four.html
Sunday, February 10, 2013. We are now a family of four! On November 9, Henry Blair was born at 10:24 am. He weighed 7 lbs, 1 oz and was 20.5 inches long. I could not have asked for a better birth! For my own benefit, I'll write a little about the birth here. If you don't enjoy reading birth stories, skip ahead and just look at the pictures. Consider yourself warned! On the way home we stopped by Five Guys and Blair ran in to get some burgers to take home and eat. Best post-birth meal ever. Henry is a cal...

Kate and Blair: Adventures in Potty Training
http://kateandblair.blogspot.com/2010/03/adventures-in-potty-training.html
Sunday, March 14, 2010. Adventures in Potty Training. Week 1 (7 mos old). Week 2 (7 mos old). After 1 month (8 mos old). After 2-3 months (9-10 mos old). Ella started peeing less in her diaper and more in the potty. This translated into big savings on diapers for us. By the time she was 10 months old we were down to using 2-3 diapers a day (including one at night! Holding Pattern (10 mos-18 mos old). At 18 months old. Night Time and Sleeping. Was it Worth it? Here are the advantages. Huge $ $ Savings.

Kate and Blair: February 2013
http://kateandblair.blogspot.com/2013_02_01_archive.html
Friday, February 22, 2013. We kept things pretty low key around here for Valentine's Day. I did manage to make Ella a new shirt for the occasion. It matched the skirt I made for her Minnie Mouse outfit. She requested that I make her hair look like a heart. Thank you, internet, for showing me a picture to copy. She loved her hair! All by herself. I was happy to design a simplistic valentine to make her "vision" a reality. She colored them and glued a chocolate heart on each one. Thursday, February 21, 2013.

David and McKenzie: March 2011
http://mcdavie.blogspot.com/2011_03_01_archive.html
Tuesday, March 29, 2011. Warning: this post is full of complaints and negativity. In the 3 weeks I have been to OB triage (in layman's terms the entrance gates to labor and delivery at the hospital). A total of 4 times. FOUR TIMES! I am 35 weeks and have consistent contractions AGAIN (despite the bed rest). I go to the hospital they give me another shot to stop contractions and they send me home. I'm still 2cm and 70% effaced. I'm just BARELY 36 weeks and I start to painful. The key to labor). Last night...

David and McKenzie: April 2010
http://mcdavie.blogspot.com/2010_04_01_archive.html
Tuesday, April 20, 2010. A Housewife's Best Friends. I never thought I would ENJOY cleaning my shower. But something happens when you suddenly pay a monthly rent to use your shower. So on Saturday I spent an hour scrubbing my shower which then turned into a full fledged cleaning adventure. Oh no, it wasn't poop (thankfully, I guess). It was gum, black gum. Black gum? Somehow a LARGE portion of the gum remained in the laundry and went through the dryer. There was little black gum pieces and stains all...

David and McKenzie: June 2010
http://mcdavie.blogspot.com/2010_06_01_archive.html
Monday, June 28, 2010. 1 month left under the Arizona sun. 1 month to find a place to live. 1 month until I sign my life away to student loans. 1 month left with family close by. 1 month left of familiarity. 1 month left of zero humidity. 1 month left in my comfort zone. PS if you haven't guessed by now. . . I made my final decision and will be going to graduate school regardless of how much I will owe in the end. Thanks everyone for all of your love and support, you're all amazing. Fact: I am indecisive.
