Saturday, August 28, 2010. We continued our walk out of the botanical gardens and walked past just rows of palm trees. I’m not sure why but I am really amazed that there are palm trees here. It does get warm, but the winters get pretty cold in my opinion even though it doesn’t snow. It is still crazy to see. I said that I was sorry, but a what? Sunday, August 22, 2010. And chicken prepared on a stick is only maybe a dollar and a half for one. But at any rate, David and I got fresh bread and a chicken for lunch. Monday, February 15, 2010. Bowenwood - Hollywood Aussie Style! Ive been a regular visitor to Bowen over the past six months due to Dans work and I have to say, its such a beautiful place. A lot of Aussies like to make fun of Bowen because its a small country town that doesnt seem to have a lot going for it, but in my opinion, its a secret little paradise!
