So, I decided to slowly buy up cheap baby boy fabric and cover the cardboard boxes. I needed affordable storage and we could not afford the baskets I liked, so I made them myself. Friday, July 15, 2011. This birthday was for one of my best girlfriends! I was asked to help with the thirty-ith birthday party decor. I chose black white and grey. The only supplies I used included:. 30 birthday fortunes, quotes from her personal friends and family members, more wishes for her to discover after the party. Monday, May 30, 2011. Any size/shape cardboard box. I love this idea. You can use any sized box from matchbox, to playing card box, to instant drink mix boxes (such as propel, which I used here). I cut paper to fit inside the boxes, an outside. Use one of your favorite memories to record. Use the exacto knife to cut out the negatives for box. Use black, it creates better shadows. I cut a small piece of a straw to heighten one of the images, to create a 3-D effect. To cast a shadow. Fixing the car with dad.

Tuesday, June 28, 2011. OUR newest addition, a mantel! This is our newest addition to our family and I am sooo excited about a mantel, yes. . . folks. . . a mantel! My hubs thinks that is sad). But living in military housing, where all the homes are boring, and bland! This mantel adds so much flare to the room! And I can now hang stockings at x-mas time! Always go into places that are going out of business. I got this for super affordable price! I only paid $50! And hung some of the twigs. I made these f...
