Tuesday, December 2. December is here.and a new year is near! I love my rhymes! So I haven't done this in a long time.but everybody else seems to be, and quite frankly, I would like to follow the crowd on this one! Let's give a little update on the life of Katie Smith thus far. I am in my second year at NC State. I have not 100% decided what I want to major in, but right now I'm all hyped up about Business, so we'll see how that works out! Hmmm well that all sounds about right! YAY for the family!

Wednesday, December 10. It's the time.of the season. So I've been thinking a lot lately about the brevity of life here on this earth. Time is a precious gift that more often than not, we take for granted. There is a song by Mark Schultz that has been playing over and over in my head that really explains what my mind has been dwelling on, it's called, "Time that is Left":. What will you do with the time that's left. Will you live it all with no regret? Will they say that you loved. Till your final breath?

Monday, December 15, 2008. The busy, crazy life I lead! I feel like the energizer bunny that never stops! But I do love it! My philosophy is you only live once so why pass up the opportunity to have fun! And then the week starts and I begin to lose sleep because I am a night owl and like to stay up late hanging out when I have to be at work at 7am! But again, oh well! And then there is our apartment! Thursday, August 28, 2008. My nieces and nephews! I have been blessed to have a total of 10 nieces and nephews now! 5 boys and 5 girls! I have seen them all grow and change. I am so happy to be close to all of them and to know that they know who I am! Its crazy to think that when I was 11 years old I was an aunt already. Some of the words that came up were quirky, which then led to other words like freakish, kinky (ha, uh no! Peculiar and idiosyncratic. I don't know about any of those words really. We stuck with idiosyncratic and the definition is: peculiar temper or disposition; belonging to one's peculiar and individual character. That is crazy to me!
