http://ldsreadingadventures.blogspot.com/2007/03/crystal-liechty-first-year.html
My take on books of interest to LDS readers. This will either be loads of fun, or it will be really, really boring. Friday, March 23, 2007. Crystal Liechty- The First Year. I'd heard good things about this book, and it just seemed like the kind of fun relationship-based read I'd be interested in. So I picked it up today at the LDStorymakers Writers Conference. I haven't read much yet, but here are a couple of quotes that look really promising to me. Here's the one from the back cover:.

My take on books of interest to LDS readers. This will either be loads of fun, or it will be really, really boring. Thursday, October 02, 2008. Sariah S. Wilson, Servant to a King. It is here that the Sariah S. Wilson’s novel Servant to a King. I mean, think about it. No matter how much you didn't want to be married off to a stranger, wouldn't you feel insulted if he decided he'd rather be a servant than married to you? Servant to a King. Posted by Katie Parker. LDS Authors Blog about Life and Writing. Saturday, August 21, 2010. I'm ba-a-a-a-a-ck. I seem to have been gone a long time, but here I am again. I think the last co-author standing should get a party, don't you? In the left-most column, at the top, I put the date. I can put anything else in the nature of notes in that column, like the times I start and end, the scene or chapter I'm working on, and how many hours I work. I see I have a notation saying slippery elm bark and chamomile tea. Ha! Or, you can ...

http://theinkladies.blogspot.com/2009_09_01_archive.html
LDS Authors Blog about Life and Writing. Wednesday, September 23, 2009. 1,000 True Fans. In my perusal of Twitter links, I ran across a reference to 1,000 True Friends, and decided to find out where it came from and what it could mean for me. I tracked it down to an original post called "1,000 True Fans" on The Technium. Kelly asserts that a creator- such as an artist, musician, or author, among others who create works of art- needs to acquire and maintain only 1,000 True Fans to make a living. Do they e...
