Tuesday, 28 February 2012. WHAT CHARLENE DID NEXT? SHE MADE SOME PATTERNS! I made these patterns for the Hobbs project to use them for upholstery. These patterns are based on drawings that I did of birds and flowers that can be found in NW.3. I am not completely happy with them, but they did take me quite a while to do. I am still trying to find a good colour pallet for this project, these seems a bit strong some how. Labels: I Did. . Thursday, 9 February 2012. WHAT CHARLENE DID NEXT? Labels: I Did. .

Flight of the Finch. The Creative Shenanigans of Lisa Finch. I braved the snow and cycled to see Su Blackwell's current exhibition 'Happily Ever After' in the Long and Ryle Gallery! I couldn't feel my hands when I got there but it was worth it. It was brilliant to see her work in the flesh after all these years of admiring it online! This one was my favourite! I got chatting with the girl working there who treated me to a free copy of the exhibition catalogue! Links to this post. The show was a hit!
