July 15, 2015. Ever since I spied a gorgeous Elizabeth barrel bag out in the world made by the amazingly talented Diedelbug. I have been wanting to make something that featured the Tula Pink queen. I finally took the plunge and fussy-cut some pieces for an Envelope Clutch. Because I have made that enough times to feel comfortable with knowing how it sews up. And it’s a great pattern but that’s beside the point. This clutch has gotten a lot of love out in the world! I’ve only carried it out a few ti...

December 27, 2014. I have been dying to post this for weeks! I am a terrible friend and it took me until almost Christmas to make my BFF’s birthday gift (…yeah, her birthday is in July like mine), but it finally got done! And now that Christmas is past, she’s opened it and I don’t have to worry about spoiling the surprise. Way back then, she requested a nautical themed clutch, and this is what I came up with. If you want to follow katili*made other places, these are good places to look! Oh, Christmas Tree.

July 23, 2015. Ok, so I have apparently become a Tula Pink convert. I just couldn’t stop at one bag after making my Envelope Clutch. I decided I needed something a little bigger and with a shoulder strap for when I was out running errands and needed my hands. I’ve been meaning to try out Swoon’s Laney Hobo. Bag pattern for quite a while now, and the shape seemed perfect for featuring some fussy cut fabric! I did have to make a couple adjustments though. So I also added a magnetic snap. If you would like ...

I started sewing when I was a small child, making clothes for my barbies. I’ve not gotten much better since then, but it’s still fun! Red and Teal Rainbow Clutch. March 3, 2016. I bought Anna Graham’s Handmade Style book, and the first thing I made was the Rainbow Clutch! This one is for someone else, but I am totally going to make one for myself soon. March 1, 2016. July 23, 2015. Simply making one Elizabeth inspired bag wasn’t enough for me, so I whipped up another! July 19, 2015. July 15, 2015. After ...

My name is Katie. You might know me from Kat Scratch Fever. Where I blog about random stuff. I like to craft, and blog about it, but my main blog didn’t seem like the right place to do it, so I made this blog! You’ll see a variety of posts. Some will be sewing posts, some will be knitting. Some will be that random craft that I did once and hated. Most posts will be my personal projects, but on occasion, you’ll see posts about updates to my Etsy shop. That’s all for now, I hope you enjoy this site!
