Friday, September 2, 2011. And I've been at war within myself, this flesh that I fight. but God is so good. I've been reading about Paul's conversion in Acts 9 and Paul's words in 1 Timothy say that God set him apart before he was born to be an instrument of God's grace, to show Jesus' perfect patience (the whole of His long-suffering). I'm so thankful for His perfect patience in my life. This was just the first of many precious memories to be made in our new home. September 3, 2011 at 8:36:00 AM CST.

Some of these things I've gotten used to and they've become more "normal." And yet there are others that I still have to smile at when I encounter them. Here are a few examples:. I'm sure by the time I go back to visit the states, this is how I'll be talking. I just found your blog and I love it! I went on a 2 week mission there in July and will be going again next summer! In the short period I was there I noticed my grammar was slipping too! Praying for you and your team there!

Soon after I moved here I applied for my short-term visa and had it within a week. I was so thankful I didn't have to deal with it and it was nice and easy. Friday, May 20, 2011. We have been working on painting, boarding up, and carpeting stairs this week. I made Mike take a pic of me "working". I needed proof that he wasn't the only one working on our house ;) Although, he's done most of the work! Emma loved the carpet!
