Well, here is the quick update on our world, ,. 1 still living out of boxes, ,. 2 new flooring, counters, fixtures etc do ne. for now. new windows will be done in late Spring. 3 hubby got a Quad Runner w/a plow attachment, and just in the nick of time! 4 my mother had a intensive stroke and has been in the Hospital since Jan. 18th. She will be transferred to a Rehabilitation facility on Feb, 16th. Bones, just a nasty gash on her head and discomfort.

Tuesday, February 24, 2015. When it's cold, damp, cloudy and rainy out. I have the perfect excuse to skip house cleaning and go play in my sewing room! And that is just what I did! I cut out a bunch of 'hexagons' for a sewing project. and I made this firewood carrier from left over fabrics. I am planning on appliqueing these hexagons together onto a mini table quilt. Friday, April 24, 2015. A Little Sewing Time Equals 3 Aprons. The weather was a wee bit dreary yesterday, so I got in a little stitching time. And here is what I made. Using left over fabric from other projects I was able to make this 'Clothes pin" apron. with 2 roomy pockets and a small hanky pocket. I had this fabulous "Cocktail" fabric left over from an Apron Swap that I did 2 years ago, ,. The play on a Black and White theme was fun but I just had to add a wee bit of color. And I am reveling in it! I was truly made for this role! My very 1st grand daughter Luci is now 9 months old! She little Puff is the joy of my life! THEN my Sister's Son has also added a new little girl to the brood. Little Aurora is no 3 weeks old. What a teeny little dream she is. And hes just getting started!
