http://breakthecyclechallenge.blogspot.com/2009/10/coast-to-coast-is-done-time-to-head.html
Break the Cycle Challenge. Monday, October 12, 2009. Coast to coast is DONE! Time to head South! Today we only needed to ride from the Blue Mountains into Sydney. A descent from Blackheath, at over 1000m, followed by a short ride through Sydney to Bondi Beach. I was joined for the trip by Warwick, Bob and John, which was nice as it was the first company i have had on a ride since the first 30km of the ride from Freo on day one! I know my ride is far from completed, but i would like to pause and thank eve...

Golfthink DRINK | Golfthink
https://golfthink.wordpress.com/golfthink-pairings-wine-bubbly
Don’t judge me! You know you enjoy adult beverages before, during or after hitting the links (or perhaps you enjoy it throughout – I know I do! This weekend, we’re a little shy on “official” PGA activity – everyone’s gearing-up for the BMW Championship, and the many CUPS that make September an exciting month. So this week, the Golfthink Drink will take a cue from the history of the sport itself, and go SCOTTISH. What say you, Laddie? How about a lil’ SCOTCH with that soda…? 1 oz Drambuie Liqueur. Break the Cycle Challenge: Motivation and messages from friends makes the difference!!
http://breakthecyclechallenge.blogspot.com/2009/10/well-it-is-day-15-and-two-weeks-since-i.html
Break the Cycle Challenge. Friday, October 9, 2009. Motivation and messages from friends makes the difference! Well it is Day 15 and two weeks since i started my ride in Fremantle. And i am still sane (my opinion) after 3,637km and 131 hours in the saddle! There have been some ups and downs but today was a challenge! Sometimes it is not the long days that bring you down, but the unexpected! Today it was the unexpected climbing, combined with my nemesis, headwinds, that turned up the gradient on the hills!

The day started dry and cold with some wind! The ride to Cowra was nice, the scenery was beautiful Australian eucalyptus surrounded by lush agricultural land, watched guys on off road motor bikes herding cattle and horses playing in their paddock! So no need for an early...

Break the Cycle Challenge. Tuesday, October 20, 2009. The final ride - Around the Bay in A Day! I can’t quite believe it, after 22 days of riding, it is now time to complete the final Around the Bay! Got to bed about midnight after we got everything ready for the morning and helped another rider get his fixed wheel ready for the big day. My only game plan about Sunday was to “Ride Safe” and “enjoy the day” something I have had as a frequent message from some of you! It was then that I went in to a daze, ...

http://breakthecyclechallenge.blogspot.com/2009/10/heading-south-but-its-not-all-downhill.html
Break the Cycle Challenge. Tuesday, October 13, 2009. Heading south but its not all downhill ha ha! Day 18 started under a blue sky and a banner at Bondi Beach . Lycra alongside the wetsuits of the early morning surfers! It was a great start with two of the Learning for Life kids making a speech. I also talked to a number of mothers who wanted to express their appreciation for the Learning for Life program. The kids had also made good luck posters - you can see in the pix. This is quite hilarious, as I w...
