Dress Me Best: September 2011
http://dressmebest.blogspot.com/2011_09_01_archive.html
An homage to vanity, indulgence and aesthetics - aka Fashion. Thursday, 29 September 2011. Paris Fashion Week: Damir Doma. I know it seems like I have bypassed London Fashion Week show stuff, but rest assured, it will appear elsewhere. In the meantime, Paris Fashion Week is in full swing so get ready for some related pictures and words. It also serves as a good break from all the patriotic stuff I've been doing recently. Posted by J.W. Wednesday, 28 September 2011. While wandering through the massive maz...

Dress Me Best: October 2011
http://dressmebest.blogspot.com/2011_10_01_archive.html
An homage to vanity, indulgence and aesthetics - aka Fashion. Monday, 31 October 2011. What I wore last night. After taking a year out from dressing up last year meant that I was absolutely gagging to get my swag on and have some dress up fun! October swept by so fast that Halloween literally crept up on me and I pretty much only realised it was time to find a costume this week! I had no red contact lenses due to the aforementioned last minute-ness of the costume, so I proceeded to rim my waterline red.

Dress Me Best: I Miss Fashion Week
http://dressmebest.blogspot.com/2011/08/finally-time-came-when-i-had-to-upload.html
An homage to vanity, indulgence and aesthetics - aka Fashion. Friday, 5 August 2011. I Miss Fashion Week. So this is merely just a wee trip down a smooth and uncobbled memory lane for all the less than comfortable shoes worn by all the women - the true victims of fashion. As it's August, I'm already looking forward and ready to request invitations for London Fashion Week in September, and clinging onto the memories of the last one will no doubt make me more eager for the next. Mr Spock at Juun J:. A dark...

Dress Me Best: Scots at LFW
http://dressmebest.blogspot.com/2011/09/scots-at-lfw.html
An homage to vanity, indulgence and aesthetics - aka Fashion. Wednesday, 28 September 2011. So my attention has been particularly drawn to all things Scottish and fashion-related recently, stemming from my recent discovery of the Design Collective Scotland. Another contributory factor may be the low I often experience when returning to Scotland from my fashion-laden trips. Reminding myself of the good things here helps to ease the pain. A sexy fisherman's wife vest? The Design Collective is jetsetting to...

Dress Me Best: February 2011
http://dressmebest.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html
An homage to vanity, indulgence and aesthetics - aka Fashion. Monday, 21 February 2011. Behind the scenes at LFW. This was the first day I spent a good few hours at Somerset House soaking in the general atmosphere (rather than just walking around London and shopping.). The designers exhibition rooms allowed for a close up view of some sample pieces from their collections straight off the catwalk for press and buyers to gawp at. Here are some of my favourites. Was really excited to see the Holly Fulton pi...

Dress Me Best: October 2010
http://dressmebest.blogspot.com/2010_10_01_archive.html
An homage to vanity, indulgence and aesthetics - aka Fashion. Friday, 1 October 2010. SS Collections: Like Birthdays in December. That being said, spring/summer's loss of beautifully cut coats and fur trimmings are forgotten with dresses of every shape and colour and sheer silks. Let the show begin. EDIT: Managed to miss Givenchy first time round - how could I forget Tisci? I must be tired. Well, here it is:. Sexy and gothy. Perfection. Oui, c'est chic. mais avec 'edge'? Don't mind if I do. Jess loves pa...

Dress Me Best: Styling Stuff
http://dressmebest.blogspot.com/2011/11/styling-stuff.html
An homage to vanity, indulgence and aesthetics - aka Fashion. Wednesday, 16 November 2011. I was really pleased when I saw one of my few mens shoots published in Slave in their recent issue, along with my regular fashion week updates. I was really excited to work with Goodstead. And their collection of simple, clean Scandanavian style designs. I really loved the muted colours with the gorgeous Victorian classroom setting and Ania. S delicate camera work. That's one hot mess. On the right. With her origin...
