Ginger had a tonsillectomy, and my blessed angel-parents came to save the day and take care of all of us. That recap will have to wait a week or two while I finish the second half of our DC vacation. It was just so memorable that I don't want to forget anything special. Ginger is hit-or-miss with the iPhone pictures. This particular one is a miss. See that brown blur by Mel? Better. Good job Ginger Girl!

Thursday, May 14, 2015. On Wednesday, April 22, Ginger had a tonsillectomy. I had originally scheduled it about a year ago; my Mom was going to come help, and it was going to be easy breezy. But then something happened, and for the life of me, I can't remember what or why I cancelled it, but I did. The reality is that I straight-up chickened out and didn't even want to deal with it. Daniel was still overseas, and I got nervous and convinced myself that she was better and wouldn't need to have surgery.
