Kayaking adventures in Ontario, Canada and farther afield! Wednesday, 21 January 2015. Well, here it is a long overdue update to my kayaking blog and a promise to keep it up in 2015! Kayaking adventures in Ontario, Canada and farther afield! Wednesday, 21 January 2015. We drifted back down the Saugeen River towards it's mouth at Lake Huron and fished all the way. Past the launch but before the Hwy#21 bridge the current slowed substantially. The drift was very slow as was the fishing! There are many places to launch and paddle along the length of the Saugeen River. We covered only a short distance. No fish caught, but another beautiful day on the water! View my complete profile.

Clueless at the moment, just trying to figure out what I should do with this and what direction to take. Thursday, April 26, 2007. As a child, I grew up near the old bed of the Morris Canal here in NJ. The canal was built in the early 1800's to transport coal from Pennsylvania to the New York area. The western part of the canal started in Philipsburgh and ended in Jersey City, NJ. Through a series of locks and inclined planes, it traversed the mountainous northern portion of NJ. Welcome, Everyone - Mike and Ruth Ann are well and going strong in North Alabama. He's an old goat and she's definitely one crazy person! Mike is having a ball playing like a river otter.
