Wednesday, October 12, 2011. Spadefish and stupidity 9/15 (late report). My plan for the day was to catch some spadefish before the cold front hit and sent them on their way. I knew the front was coming around 8pm so I assumed I had all day to fish. I paddled out, met up with Kayak Kevin. That thought honestly could have been fatal. Saturday, December 31, 2011. My last two trips have been uneventful. I made it out to Kiptopeake once and the York river once. I was using live eels both times, but the only thing I got was boredom. Although I can say that "The walking dead" on Netflix via android phone was excellent quality at Kiptopeake :) I watched an entire 45 min. episode while eeling and paddling against current.
