Wednesday, November 28, 2012. I hate to cook! Ever night I hear "Mom, what's for dinner" I cringe! A few weeks ago, I decided to remedy that, and now, I only have to cook 2 nights a week :). I decided it's time the kids learn how to cook. James could be going on a mission in 4 1/2 years and he needs to be prepared, right? So each kid got to choose a favorite meal and I started teaching them how to cook it. As soon as they've mastered that meal, they get to choose a different one to learn how to cook.

Monday, February 11, 2013. Last fall, Jakes ear tubes fell out. Since then he has had 4 ear infections, so the doctor said it was time to do tubes again. When they do tubes for the 2nd time, they usually remove the adenoids as well. He was a good sport as usual. Getting ready for the doctors to come in and talk to us. He was in good spirits. Playing with the funny pillow that they put under his head during the surgery. "I've got my eye on you" is what he was saying while taking this picture.
