Sunday, July 21, 2013. I'm so happy to have him back! It's been a fun filled day on a couple fronts. I don't think I'll ever go that route, but you never know. And pretty soon, he was talking my ear off about swimming, seeing crabs that can snap you, holding an alligator (at the alligator farm) that had tape on its mouth so it couldn't bite your legs off, and all the fun he had. Saturday, March 16, 2013. Tristan turned one today! That was quite a gift - made me feel like it was my birthday. Other than that, things have been fairly quiet. Tristan has his one year check up on Tuesday, so we'll see then where things stand. He's a wonderful boy - I'm so lucky to have my sons! Sunday, March 3, 2013. Wow I'm bad at this. Things are going pretty smoothly here. It's hard to believe that Tristan will be one in a couple weeks! But now it's time to head to church, which is always an advent...

Monday, January 21, 2013. Yesterday, we celebrated his birthday with his grandparents and some of his cousins. It was a lot of fun watching Ronan play with his cousins. They laughed a lot (love the sound of children's laughter! And played hard. Afterwards, Ronan went back to my in-laws and spent the night there (as did his cousins). I'm sure the fun continued there! And Tristan handed the bag over! When Tristan started crying in frustration because he couldn't get the crackers out, Ronan said, "Here, I'll help you! I nearly started crying in the car. Saturday, April 27, 2013. I just got in from spending about four hours doing yard work, so I thought I'd take some time to update. Both boys really love playing outside, which is good. The only downside at this point is that Tristan still needs near constant supervision, since he's obsessed with climbing stairs. But he also likes to chase Ronan while Ronan rides his bike, so that's a good distraction. I have no idea where he gets that. :). Tuesday, April 2, 2013. But cute kids will have to suffice.

Saturday, February 8, 2014. So apparently I'll just be sporadically updating here from here on out. Oops. :) Looks like I have a lot of catching up to do! It was great being up there and seeing so much family. My aunt and uncle came up from Colorado with their youngest grandson and my cousin and his wife and their kids came over as well a few times. Wednesday, July 10, 2013. Get me an ark - stat! In other news, Ronan left July 5 for Gulf Shores, AL with my mother-in-law and four of his cousins. It sounds like they're having a great time. I miss him, but I'll admit that it is nice to be able to sleep in occasionally! Tristan is much more of night owl than early bird, so our sleep schedules line up a lot better.
