L a u g h i n g scared. Sunday, November 20, 2011. The Empty House - Writing the Ghost House. To carry on with the week's earlier theme of writing about the iconic "spooky house", here's another bit of evil house description- this time from Algernon Blackwood. The 'empty house' is, a mediocre hulk of a place, a quietly balanced contradiction from roof to floor: the same as every other house, and yet so terribly different. From The Empty House by Algernon Blackwood. Wednesday, November 16, 2011. See, if I...

Happy November | My Writing Goals
https://procrastinatenomore.wordpress.com/2011/11/02/happy-november
Greetings, fellow ROWers…Thank you for stopping by. So, it’s November, and while I’m not participating in NaNo (all the best to those of you who are), I still want to complete the first draft of my children’s chapbook by the end of the month. Two of the four appendices for Deb’s book are written. The other two just need to be fleshed out. I should have one of the two chapters that still need to be written completed by the end of next week at the latest. I still have time to exercise three times this week...

http://laughingscared.blogspot.com/2012/02/did-you-overlook-any-of-these-gems.html
L a u g h i n g scared. Monday, February 20, 2012. Did You Overlook Any of these Gems. Here's an overlooked gems list. Of horror films. (One of the rare occasions that I have actually seen the titles on an "overlooked" list.) Well, to each his own as they say, but IMO the only real gems here are Grace and Pontypool - both of which are available as watch instantly movies on Netflix if you're a member. I would name Thirst. Korean), a wild take on vampires, and The Dorm. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Friday, September 30, 2011. When there's no more room in hell. But first, here are some tunes to get you in the brain-eating mood. Out of character with Dottie. Left: Age 17; Right: Age 21. Now, as for my blood recipe, if you make this you're seriously in for a treat. Red food coloring (the vegan-ness of red food dye is debatable, as it is sometimes horrifyingly made out of beetles, so do some research on the brand you buy). Optional: green food coloring. If you skip the black paint, it's pretty tasty!

Friday, September 30, 2011. So, for the Zombie Blogger Walk, I decided to do a post on the top 10 Zombie Movies! 10 Day of the Dead (1985). In three words, Bruce Campbell, "Boomstick," AND dead creatures.and witches.and awesomeness! Ok, so a little more than three words! 8 28 Weeks Later. 7 The Walking Dead. I wish they made more zombie shows! I'm inte...

Horror Writer And Poet. This dark little section of the web seeks to bring together the web pages of horror poets from around the world.
