Monday, November 29, 2004. My name is Matthew Lord and I live in exciting Iowa City, Iowa, the town named after its state. It gets cold here, and I live in a drafty old red house on the corner of Otto and Lee Streets, so I just finished putting up plastic over the windows. It doesn't seem like plastic sheets would do much to keep in the heat, but it does. Iowa City is where I go to college, at the University of Iowa. (Do they name everything after the state here? Not very creative, are they?

I work at the company, Yahoo! When you go to your Grandma Sue’s house in Fort Morgan, your dad drives nearly an hour and a half through lots of farmland. You could drive just as long through Los Angeles and never leave the city! This place is HUGE! We have FIVE big theme parks: Disneyland. And Knotts Berry Farm.
