http://stringplay.blogspot.com/2014_02_01_archive.html
Wednesday, February 26, 2014. So much happens that I would like to share and talk about but never seem able to get (or take! The time to sit down and compose a post. I wouldn't have made the effort this time except I enjoyed learning about this project. That I didn't want you to miss it. Perhaps you already read the Knitsofacto blog. Or already check in on life on the Orkney Islands at this Northern Lace blog. If so you already know of the WW1 centenary film. What a wonderful project! Jekyll Island, GA.

stringplay: Crazy? I'm halfway there!
http://stringplay.blogspot.com/2012/04/crazy-im-halfway-there.html
Monday, April 23, 2012. I've reached the halfway point of the tatted antique wristbag. I'm going to have to deal with all those loose ends soon as they are driving me nuts. Halfway means (obviously) that one side is complete. I'll keep adding sections in the same manner and it will remain one flat piece until that last section connects to the first. Not so sure when. That will be. But, hey! It isn't like there is any real hurry for this. : ). Let me remind you, it is the LACE. Out and get one. Powder Spr...

stringplay: Field Trip!
http://stringplay.blogspot.com/2013/07/field-trip.html
Monday, July 29, 2013. Last week I went on a field trip. Everyone at the office was given a free day off anytime during July with the stipulation that we do something special. Wasn't that nice! My first couple of ideas didn't pan out and it is just as well that they did not because I ended up having such a wonderful time. I took myself downtown to The High Museum. To see 35 masterpieces from the Dutch Golden Age including Vermeer's Girl with a Pearl Earring. Imagine being able to. Powder Springs, GA, Uni...

http://stringplay.blogspot.com/2013/03/resting-place-for-pins.html
Saturday, March 2, 2013. Resting Place - for pins. So have you watched all the episodes of season 3 of "Downton Abbey" yet? I sometimes felt like the tug of war was with my emotions. A. Happened in season 3, huh? I have to say that the plot lines often take second place in my interest to the all the wonderful costumes and lush set props. Oh, my. It didn't hurt either that the final episode took place in Scotland and, in addition to the magnificent scenery, we got kilts and tartans. Pattern is found here.

stringplay: Yarn Bombing
http://stringplay.blogspot.com/2013/09/yarn-bombing.html
Wednesday, September 18, 2013. Hello, all. It is only 71 degrees today! Bliss I am so ready to welcome fall. I say this even knowing how many leaves I'll have to rake. Lovely cool weather is. Today I took a long route to the post office and took my camera so I could take a photo of the yarn bombing at the Marietta/Cobb Museum of Art. Regardless it was a treat to be out and about in such nice weather. There were many smiles on the folks I passed. Powder Springs, GA, United States. View my complete profile.

stringplay: I've Got Peace Like A River
http://stringplay.blogspot.com/2013/03/ive-got-peace-like-river.html
Friday, March 22, 2013. I've Got Peace Like A River. Spring is here. Actually it arrived a couple of days ago - according to the calendar. And it is easy enough to believe with absolutely. Thing budded and bloomed even if the thermometer hovers around 40 in the daytime and dips lower at night. I do not mind an extension of cooler temperatures. I'm sure we'll have plenty enough heat later on. Even with this cool spell I hardly need wool gloves but that's what I'm knitting and Boy Oh Boyardee. It amazed Jo...
