Musings of a New Mommy. Monthly Archives: August 2012. I can’t be a “know it all”. My life over the past 7 months has been vey challenging. When Lexi was 7 weeks old, Brian (my hubs) was moved to a 3rd shift position at work. He is also required to work every other weekend. So his work schedule is 12 days on 3rd’s (11pm-7am) and 2 days off. On and on the cycle goes, 12 and 2, 12 and 2, 12 and…. Musings of a New Mommy. Monthly Archives: June 2012. Posted in weight loss. It has been 1 week since I made up my mind, drew a line in the sand and said “I’m going to lose weight”. The week was hard. Totally blew any calorie count on Saturday at a cookout. Had several 11-11:30pm dinners (yes I said PM) the evenings I had to work. Major fail.
