Wednesday, February 25, 2009. I took Claire to preschool today and it was pouring down rain. When we got home both Adam and I took a nap. The nap was wonderful because I got rid of my headache, but I woke up to this! So in about 2 hours it snowed about 2 inches. Wow! I slipped and slided all the way to her preschool, but at least we got there and back safely. It's still snowing, but at least the roads are now clear. I didn't expect this to happen today. Monday, March 30, 2009. As you can see from the title, I'm not feeling the love toward wallpaper. The people that put up the wallpaper in our house did a horrible job. Tuesday, March 11, 2014. I don't feel like I've ever been very good at speaking to them on their level and in the terms that make sense to them. As a result, I've probably talked (or yelled) AT them far more than I've communicated with. It all makes me rather sad some days. And yet. I happen to believe that there is grace enough (and to spare) for parents who are willing to try and keep trying. So I keep trying. What do you do to build your children up? How do you help them move along toward worthy goals?
