Thursday, 15 November 2012. I decided to do my tech images stemed from my concept. I wanted to focus something on the abuse and dark side of my concept and produce images that where in your face and started a conversation. I made all the images self portraits to put myself out of my comfort zone both creatively, technically and conceptually. These are a few of the images that I took in the planning of my tech work. Also the images after i applied bruising and cuts in photoshop. Wednesday, 8 August 2012.

Technology 4: Minor Project Ideas

http://kaylasteeletechnology4.blogspot.com/2012/08/minor-project-ideas.html

Wednesday, 8 August 2012. The following are examples of images that I find inpirational:. I like the idea of changing the apperance of a home. This brings it back to the fairy tale element of photographic illustraion. This image I found interesting because of the way that it is done. The steam isnt how you would expect to see it when you are opening the pot. It is shaped in more of a way that resembles a brain rather then steam. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Major Folio Portrait Photography. Major Folio Vehicle Photography. Sunday, 26 August 2012. Focal length would be a mid-range zoom lens with a tighter crop is post production. The photographer is level with the front sting ray. Focal length would be a wide angle with the photographer situated underneath and slightly to the right of the jelly fish. Major Folio Portrait Photography. Major Folio Vehicle Photography. Monday, 20 August 2012. This image shot from a lower angle to give the models a sense of superiority, Id say that it would be a zoom lens based on the distortion of the trees. With a square crop added in photoshop. The lighting source would be day light with a reflector in front of them (to give highlights on there legs). Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Poachers Pantry - 10/08/12. View my complete profile.

Friday, 10 August 2012. Today we visited the Gallery of Australian Design to look at the new display called "Fashionably Early". As part of this e-learn says to "Analyse the images and objects at the Gallery of Australian Design". So keeping in mind that I can analyse images, but when it comes to fashion i know NOTHING. here goes my opinions. Images such as these. Where more high quality images, this designer thought alot about the visual appeal of the clothing in a photographic term.

Workshop 4: Vehicle Photography Prep

http://kaylasteeleworkshop4.blogspot.com/2012/08/vehicle-photography-prep.html

Major Folio Portrait Photography. Major Folio Vehicle Photography. Sunday, 26 August 2012. I believe this to be a wide angle shot of the background taken on location. It is possible that it is a stitched image, however I cannot be sure. The car was taken in studio and transferred onto background in post-production. The photographer is just above the roof of the car, however not buy much, just enough to give shape to the bonnet. Easton Chang Automotive Photography. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Major Folio - ActewAGL. Monday, 12 March 2012. 08/03/2012 - Workshop 4 - Lens Testing. Above is the chart of all images I took with my 28-135mm lens. The sweet spot is at 135mm at f11, I found the other focal lengths had alot of lens distortion and some signs of aberrations. The worst sharpness spot on my lens at 135mm was 22. These f stops where the most common sweet spot in the different focal lengths. At 28mm my lens distortion is VERY obvious! 08/03/2012 - Workshop 6 - Close Ups. Stamp - Life Size.

For the following lens types write a description of each using no more than 10 words for each lens. Gives a wider than normal view and has a small focal length. Focal length is longer then usual, brings subjects/ objects closer. A wide angle lens with short focus that is mounted near the film/sensor. Small focal length, curved element at the front that covers a view of almost 180.

Major Folio - ActewAGL. Tuesday, 29 May 2012. I found that the callibration with the EYE ONE on paper was a little bit harder then I expected. It took the most time and was the hardest to get a hang of. Everything else was easy to do after a bit of learning and guidence from the sheet of paper. Wednesday, 9 May 2012. 2012-05-10 Callibration - Part 2. Today I finished my callibration part 2 assignement. This reasonably easy, the only thing that i found hard was to scan the test targets!
