Sunday, September 23, 2012. KK's 3rd Birthday Party. Even though we had a special day for Kaidence, we still wanted to have a low key "party" with our family. KK's grandparents, aunts, and cousin Brayson came over for dinner and cake and opening gifts. It was a perfect small party for our sweet three year old girl. Links to this post. Friday, September 21, 2012. This year we decided to keep Kaidence's party low key. A newborn and party crafting just don't go hand-in-hand. ha! We still wanted KK to feel special, so we had a fun day just for her. We started off our day with a trip to the Gulf Breeze Zoo. We got there when they first opened and it was a great decision. It seems like she should still be a tiny newborn, but she's definitely a wild, busy toddler. For her party I wanted to keep it sweet and no characters. I love how everything turned out. Some days getting a photo of these two kids goes really well and other days, well, on those other days Hadley tries to make a break for it while Asher looks like we just shot his dog. Or Asher makes his "cheese." face while Hadley flirts with our neighbor. Or I try to get in on the action because we never did get a decent Mother's Day pic and they both try to squirm away. Saturday, June 27, 2015. June happenings: weeks three and four. Rainy Mondays call for a trip to the pet store to look at the animals! Those tip toes though. Asher has been working so hard to master this rope at the park. He's still a little short but almost there! On Sunday we celebrated the best daddy in the world! Happy Father's Day, Drew! These 3 are my whole world! These 2 kids were so young and thin - I like to think we still look like this. :-). Beach trip: coming up! August 4, 2015 at 12:09 PM.

Our first two weeks in July were spent driving to, enjoying, and returning from the beach - then, of course doing the piles of laundry and getting back to normal. Regular life commenced for the second half of the month. :-). A rainy Tuesday called for our first movie theater movie in a long time! We went to see "Inside Out" and it was amazing. Friday, October 31, 2014. It's a week of special events - first was Hadley's birthday, next up…Halloween! Asher really loves the "How To Train Your Dragon" movies so when he asked to be 'Toothless Dragon' for Halloween I couldn't say no. One of my main goals in life is to dress these 2 in coordinating costumes for as long as I can get away with it - ha! Happy Halloween from Toothless the Dragon and his (stinkin' adorable) Viking friend! Can I just say that these costumes make me happier than they should?

Tuesday, July 7, 2015. Red, White, and Blue! Long weekends are my absolute favorite! We had Friday off in honor of America's Birthday, and I took yesterday off to watch my niece. My sister just went back to work, so we are helping her out as she transitions Chiara into daycare. Friday I cleaned out my whole apartment. I know super exciting way to spend my day off. But, I needed to organize things, and I was able to donate two bags worth of clothes. Now I have room in my closet and drawers for new things!
