Rach, Lace and I are back on language duty this week and it is going really well. The kids have finally fallen in to routine, and are really responding to the language stimulation. Tuesday, June 22, 2010. We started packing this afternoon! This has been a TASK! I am leaving most of my clothes to give to the aunties at the Havens and other children in need. Which this is probably the best idea considering I did massive damage at the market! Doubt I'd be able to fit it all in my luggage! I cant believe our trip is finally coming to an end! I'm blessed to have the opportunity to travel to Zambia with the Speech-Path program at Harding. We will be at the Namwiangan Mission in Kalomo, Zambia from May 16-June 25. I am so excited! I'm ready to see what new things God has for me to learn :). Monday, June 14, 2010. Today we had tummy time with them on our tummies. I believe this is my favorite moment of the whole trip! I will leave you with these. 1 Things don't have to be done my way to be done right. 2 Little leaps are just as good as big ones. 3 Just cause your clothes don't match, doesn't mean you aren't in fashion. 4 Our plans don't always work out the way you want them to. 5 Kids are ALWAYS watching, even if you think they aren't.

We have been trying to get the “Aunties” more involved with therapy so that they can continue after we leave. It has been slow going on that front but we have managed to form so close relationships with some of these ladies. I am confident they will do some FANTASTIC language lessons after we leave. Monday, June 21, 2010. Last night in Livingstone! Again, I have an unlimited amount of internet here at the hotel, so this will have to be a short post until I get back to Namwianga tomorrow.
