Friday, 19 January 2018. For this week's Anything Goes theme, I'm sharing a card I made for my mum's birthday:. I soaked one of the {Butterflies}. For about an hour in water, then very carefully separated it into thin pieces and left them to dry completely. This was a whiteboard piece so I had the white layer as well. I painted the greyboard parts with gesso and when dried, sprayed one of these and the white layer with the inks I'd sprayed onto the card base. I took a heart from the {Mini Hearts Set}.

Saturday, 13 June 2015. Tando Heat It Up. The technique we're using on the {Tando Blog}. This week is 'Heat it up' and I have made this ATC:. First off, I gave the {ATC}. A coat of gesso and then while that was drying, I used masking tape to tape off the little pieces on the {Random Circles Mask}. That I didn't want to use. I then used a thick coat of gesso through the circles of the mask and used the heat gun to dry it, making sure that it bubbled to give lots of lovely texture. 14 June 2015 at 10:53.

I used some silver leaf that I bought but hadn't used yet (don't we all have stuff like that? Through the Grid Round Stencil. I stamped and watercoloured {Boots}. Cut her out and stuck her onto some dotty washi tape. I've finished off with 'Just For You' from {Barcode Text}. Directly onto the card blank. Head over to the {SDC Blog}.

It was our 16th wedding anniversary yesterday, and we said we wouldn't buy for each other. but when Carl came home from work on Thursday night, he handed me 3 presents! I printed/saved all the projects, but have only had chance to make one up to now - and that's only because I needed it for a pressie.
