KDandLiberty2: April 2007
http://kdandliberty2.blogspot.com/2007_04_01_archive.html
Wednesday, April 25, 2007. Sharing some of mom's salsa. Posted by mom @ 7:57 PM. Tuesday, April 24, 2007. Jeff and the kids snuggling after bathtime. Kolbe ran outside to bring in the recycling tub after the "recycling guys" emptied it. He is such a big helper! In the background you can see Jeff's spring break project, scraping the house. It will hopefully get painted EARLY this summer. Posted by mom @ 12:20 PM. As you can see, Libby did manage to shove some in. Posted by mom @ 10:10 AM. This is another ...

KDandLiberty2: January 2007
http://kdandliberty2.blogspot.com/2007_01_01_archive.html
Tuesday, January 23, 2007. A Couple of Kolbe Funnies. Kolbe loves for Libby to wear piggie tails in her hair. The other day when it was bath-time I took out the rubber bands and her hair semi held the shape without the bands in. Kolbe noticed her hair and announced, "I don't like to take a bath with people who don't look pretty.". This afternoon while the kids were having their snack, I heard Kolbe tell Libby, "Santa knows you are dumping out your water.". Posted by mom @ 12:21 PM. Posted by mom @ 2:52 PM.

KDandLiberty2: August 2007
http://kdandliberty2.blogspot.com/2007_08_01_archive.html
Thursday, August 30, 2007. We are still here. Libby is practicing winking and since Kolbe hasn't mastered winking yet, he just made a funny face. Last weekend Jeff took Kolbe to the Air Show. Of course Kolbe had to pose in front of the C-130, Aunt Janelle's Enormous plane. Kolbe loves biplanes, this one looks just his size. We met up with Tanya and Ella and took the girls to the park while the boys were at school. Posted by mom @ 6:51 AM. View my complete profile.

KDandLiberty2: March 2007
http://kdandliberty2.blogspot.com/2007_03_01_archive.html
Sunday, March 18, 2007. Last week was devoted almost exclusively to the Extreme Makeover Home Edition. Kolbe was not too interested in the celebrities, just the big construction vehicles! We thought we knew all of the names for the big vehicles, but learned this excavator is also called a trackhoe. This is the jargon of a mother of a construction boy. Kolbe sat/stood mesmerized by all of the activity the first morning. We were there from 8:30 until after 2 when the house was finally demolished. Was invit...

KDandLiberty2: May 2007
http://kdandliberty2.blogspot.com/2007_05_01_archive.html
Tuesday, May 29, 2007. Saturday Gma B took the grandkids to see Shrek 3. All four of them were pretty good. They really enjoyed the snacks! Yesterday was field day at school. They had a petting zoo with baby animals. Kolbe and Libby pet a chick, duck, goat, piglet, bunny, and donkey. We stayed for a while to watch dad in the dunk tank. In the first picture he is taunting the 6th graders. Don't worry, they got him good. He was dunked at least a dozen times in the 15 minutes or so that we watched. After ou...

Saturday, March 25, 2006. Besides flying, life has been good. My life still consists of eating, sleeping, studying, and occasionally, running. After the checkride last week, I did go out of town for a camping trip. I went to the hill country, just an hour and a half north of Del Rio. The park was quite lovely, but a bit too commercialized for my liking. Sorry for the lack of updates. Posted by kansas @ 9:44 PM. View my complete profile. Shannon and Jeff's Kids. Monday, May 29, 2006. Despite the fact I run quite a lot and would consider myself to be somewhat in shape, not much can prepare you to not be tired after two flights of formation flying in 100 plus temperatures. (By the way, I am still looking for pictures to show you of exactly how close formation flying really is! Anyway, the place is absolutely beautiful, and with a dock! So, not only is our place on the canal, but it is running distance from the ocean! Last story. On Sunday, we went to church in...

Saturday, October 08, 2005. Anyway, the first plane I will be flying is the T-6 Texan. If you would like to see what this aircraft looks like, click on this. Http:/ www.baseops.net/militarypilot/t6 training.html. If I can pass the first six months (say your prayers), I will fly the T-44 Pegasus. This is a Navy aircraft, so I will be training with a bunch of those folks. Hmm. Anyway, here is a picture of the T-44. Http:/ www.history.navy.mil/planes/t-44.html. Posted by kansas @ 6:52 PM.

Monday, July 31, 2006. The desk is massive and in just the perfect spot to look out on the water. The following is my favorite picture of all: Travis and I getting ready to hit the water in the kayaks. I was so lucky to have Travis come down Saturday morning. This whole long distance business has been tough, especially for two busy bumblebees in flight training. I guess this is enough venting for one day. He had it all pictured in his head of what he wanted to make and just went to town with it. I have n...
