Monday, July 27, 2009. Last Saturday, I played likely the most wet round of golf I have every played. The first 8 or 9 holes wasn’t too bad. Anna and Christina were there to get us started with water, a beer ticket and a goodie bag and came to check us out on the 6th hole. . On the ninth as you can see the weather wasn’t too bad yet, no shells, no umbrellas etc. Corey hit a great drive which took us right down to the end of the fairway. And surprisingly we all had good drives as you can see from the form.

Wednesday, October 28, 2009. While We waited for the train to arrive we headed out of town and up to an old mill that has been converted to an Inn . Le Moulin Inn and Spa. Here’s Deb just over the bridge behind the Inn. Here are some more shots from around the Inn. We also saw a lot of the Gatineau’s fall colours on the way back to Ottawa. After We got back I got tickets to a Jazz quintet at the national arts centre for that night. Deb had a little rest and I went down to the end of the Rideau Canal.

Or underground earthquake, in North American mining history and devastated the people of Springhill with the casualties it took, and devastated the town: the mines had been the town's economic lifeblood, and were never reopened following the disaster. Saturday, September 25, 2010. Last Shots of Chicago. Here are a few final pictures of Chicago taken over the course of our three days downtown. From Millennium Park the bean and some weird Latin costumes. Michigan Avenue a busy and vibrant street. From the Signature room a picture of me with Navy Pier in the background. Deb after perhaps a glass of Champagne awaiting what turned out to be a great meal. A couple of shots of the Chicago skyline south of John Hancock center just as the lights are coming on.

It’s Amelia’s 6th birthday pretty soon, and we’re getting her a bike helmet and a new bicycle. First, we checked the helmet selection at Walmart, and Amelia liked this pink one, with princesses on it. It was cute, but maybe not the safest model available. I tried to convince her to buy a different one, but she loved this one too much. She was a little disappointed, but quickly got over it.

She picked out some colourful elastics, and asked me to make two ponytails and three braids. It looked awesome, as you can see! Amelia was very pleased with it, after I took a picture of the back, and showed it to her. At suppertime, Amelia helped me put the coating on the chicken, so we could bake it. Bea and Dag (36).

Last Thursday, Keith and Dylan rode the GO train into downtown Toronto, and went to the Ripley’s Aquarium. The first picture was taken by the Aquarium photographer, and all the rest were taken by Keith. They also passed a fountain that had metal salmon in it, swimming upstream. Dylan like this collection of old trains too. Indoor and Outdoor Fun.
