And the weird thing is that I know exactly why I hate our race, but I can never figure out what it is about us that I love and see in everyone. Maybe it's the aimlessness of everything, but the persistence to carry on. I kind of lost that along the way, but I'm finding new reasons to keep going. He gave her a hat to wear. Eating at Chili's was pretty fun, too. Again, all I can say. I guess I just feel empty a lot. I guess I just don't have the time. It's hard to see when the sun doesn't shine. I know it has. I see it sometimes. But I just can't make it last. It just keeps raining. Especially when I think. It rolls down my face every time I blink.

Trying to come up with a tune, but it's hard to make it sound Christmas-y and sarcastic at the same time. There's just something about December. Maybe it's the knitted gloves and scarves and hats. The warmth despite the cold that I can remember. But you never gave a damn about any of that. Or maybe it's the smiles of my friends. Just for that moment to never end.
