Stephanie's Thoughts on Life. Tuesday, December 10, 2013. It snowed this weekend! Okay, so I wasn't very excited about the snow but Lucas sure was. He had a blast playing outside. Since Grandma Karen was around, we have some awfully cute pics of him outside. Lance got to try out the snow blower because one doesn't live in Iowa and not have a snow blower.right? Tuesday, March 12, 2013. Who's got Spring fever? We had another blast of snow that hit the last week in February, and it left a little more of the white stuff behind. Thursday, September 8, 2011. Man am I ready for the weekend. The Kansas State Fair starts this weekend and I am ready to sink my teeth into a Pronto Pup! If you've never had one, it's a corn dog on steroids and it's gooood. I hope that everyone had a wonderful Labor Day weekend last week. We had a busy one. Here's how it went down. Monday (Labor Day).I cleaned the living room up, cleaned the refrigerator, cleaned out our closet and after all of that I was done. Hope everyone has a good weekend ahead!

Friday, April 12, 2013. It's April. That means Spring is pretty much here right? That's what we thought. Last weekend it was in the 70's. It was so beautiful outside. Birds were chirping, the sun was shining, the flowers were starting to bloom, and then BOOM! We get hit with a cold front that came in from the west and the temperature outside dropped 20 degrees and there was freezing rain and wind. Only in Kansas. Sunday, August 14, 2011. I don't even know where to begin. We've been staying busy around here. Mostly trying to stay cool from this awful summer heat we've had. I am ready for it to be over.
