My creative career started in my late teens when I won the 1981 Fellowship of Australian Writers. Young Poet's Award. I graduated as a doctor in Melbourne in 1987 and continued to write and be involved in performance poetry for the next decade. During my specialist studies in psychiatry my creative path took a turn toward the visual arts. The following links reflect my interest in both medicine and visual arts. Coffs Harbour Regional Art Gallery. Established in 2001 the Coffs Harbour Regional Gallery hosts a vibrant exhibition program which includes support for local regional artists with their 'featured artists' exhibitions. Situated at the end of the Thora valley along the winding course of the Bellinger River. Cool Creek' is a 200 acre (approximately 80 hectare) property surrounded by the New England. On the river flat stands my studio built from the recycled timbers of the old Raleigh railway station. Up the hill stands the tree cottage which is home to myself and my family. Medicine and art have long been primary amongst my many passions. I love to draw. I love to sculpt. I love to make things out of whatever comes to hand, especially the ordinarily overlooked which can become unique if I simply reconnect with the reflection and joy within my soul and be with the moment. Be it a pen, a piece of charcoal, a lump of wood or a camera, creating and sharing that energy is essential to my spirit. My art work has been inspired by my many life journeys and where I now live.

I am a city born doctor who, in pursuit of balance between my medicine and my art, moved with my partner to a small piece of wilderness on the north coast of New South Wales Australia called 'Cool Creek'. I have come to my art career later in life. Like most artists though, I have drawn and sculpted since childhood. Doelstellingen
Welkom bij kinderdagverblijf & buitenschoolse opvang Banjer (hierna te noemen ‘Banjer’). Banjer is een particulier kinderdagverblijf (hierna te noemen ‘kdv’) dat opvang biedt aan kinderen van 0 tot 13 jaar. Wij zijn 13 april 2004 van start gegaan en gevestigd in Blaricum ‘oude dorp’. Wij kunnen momenteel max. 50 kinderen plaatsen binnen ons kdv en 60 bij de buitenschoolse opvang (hierna te noemen ‘bso’). Aan de hand van deze informatie willen wij u wegwijs maken in het beleid en de organisatie van Banjer.
