Saturday, January 31, 2015. Elinor has a bit of a unicorn obsession. She has a unicorn castle with five plush unicorns that live within. She has a walking unicorn with a light-up horn that makes magical sparkly sounds. Her pillow proudly sports a gaudy (Mama-made) unicorn pillowcase. And yes, she even has a ceramic unicorn. Thursday, August 13, 2015. Last Week of Summer. Monday we went hiking on one of my favorite running trails. It was a gorgeous hike and we were having a good time (we saw a banana slug! After hiking we went swimming with some friends and then called it a day. Tuesday we went to see a dollar movie in the morning (horrible movie, but the kids loved it and we got to sit in some great recliner seats! Dancing to the entrance. Sitting at the entrance with a giant party-hatted polar bear (and a sleeping Jacob).

Monday, May 11, 2015. While we were separated from our piano Joseph's mom sent a great little Casio keyboard that was perfect for us. The keys were weighted, it had pedals, and the volume control and headphones option were great for all the apartments we lived in. Plus it was like a million times easier to move than a real piano. Thursday, March 12, 2015. Today was a busy time. We'd been babying a line of potted vegetable plants for the last couple of weeks, bringing them inside each night, waiting for the weather to be warm enough for them to live outside. I mostly just got fed up with shuttling them in and out everyday, but the weather is pretty warm now so we decided to go ahead and plant them today. September 30, 2008. 2 BREAKS - now we're BROKE! At the end of it all, Trevor kind of likes his new black cast. Yep, another broken bone! Why is it that kids decide to need the really expensive doctor visits two months before Christmas shopping starts? You need to take him to urgent care. His arm is broken! Sure enough, he broke both bones in his arm. The ulna (smaller bone) just buckled but the radius (larger bone) snapped clean in half. April 28, 2009. Harry Randall is the sweet baby of my very close and dear friends Shannan and Monti Randall. The Randall family has suffered a very great loss. I received a frantic phone call from Monti at 3:00am Sunday morning (April 19th) asking me to come stay with their two year old daughter, Gracie, until Shannan's family could get there. October 31, 2008. Pumpkin Carving and Halloween Party. We had such a great time at Joni's Halloween party for FHE. On Monday night. There was lots of good food, lots of GREAT COMPANY, and some fantastic pumpkin carving! I love to look at pictures on other blogs and I love to take pictures. August 24, 2008. On August 23rd my Grandma Hall turned 85 years young. She was able to have her children, most of her grandchildren and most of her great grandchildren meet at Peter Piper Pizza to celebrate. My grandma is an amazing lady! Grandma would put us to bed reading the story "Little Black Sambo. And would fix us homemade scones for breakfast. The days were spent playing cards and other activities.
