It's the little things that count. Thursday, 3 January 2013. Can you believe it? Our little boy is halfway to his first birthday! Time sure is flying. We still haven't found out where to get him weighed to check how chubba he really is, but he has grown and is now 68cm long! Perfect growth based on his length at birth). This month has seen some major milestones in our little boys life, with two very exciting developments:. Yep, that's right! John now has two little teeth! A gnawed up piece of apple.

When our son was born, I was one of those first time mothers who swore she would never give her baby a dummy (i.e. pacifier). So, you might be surprised when you look at this picture:. Yep, that is right, that is a dummy in my son's mouth. And no, he's not six weeks old, he's only four weeks old. What changed my mind? Well it was a combination of things:. A total of 3 hours sleep on Saturday night/Sunday morning.

It's the little things that count. Friday, 31 August 2012. Ok, so this post is a few days old (John was 2 months old on Thursday and it's now Saturday), but, well, we've been busy. I've noticed that John has learned to do quite a few new things over the last month. 1 He has learned how to stretch. When he wakes up from a sleep he loves to stretch his arms way over his head and arch his back like he has had the best sleep ever (even if it has only been a 5 minute dose). It is way cute. The last few weeks.
