Jots, Thoughts and Tittles: December 2012

Jots, Thoughts and Tittles. Dec 10, 2012. The Power of the Voice. In a world where each individual is entirely insignificant to the whole, the one thing that makes each of us stand out is our voice, whether in song, in writing, or the words we speak. As I have read through hundreds of poems from students all across America, two themes stand out: our search for love and acceptance, and the pain from others' words. Is this who we, as a human race, as spirit brothers and sisters, have become? Kera with an e.

Jots, Thoughts and Tittles. Jun 30, 2013. The World is our Stage. The stage curtain rises, and the stars step out into the spotlight. All 7.1 billion of them. Each actor has been told that they are the main characters, that they determine the outcome, and that they call the shots. But each actor is pushed aside by all of the extras, whether intentionally or by mistake. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Read some of my stories. Five Minutes in Final Edit. Snap 'n' the Cheek: June 2015
http://cheeksandlogan.blogspot.com/2015_06_01_archive.html
Snap 'n' the Cheek. First comes love. . . Wednesday, June 24, 2015. Man, this little guy is growing big right before our eyes. He is learning how to take care of himself. Mom took too long getting grapes for him, so I found him like this, after he'd taken into his own hands. Time for a trim. Short hair and a new hat to keep the sun off this little fair maiden. We can all be outside the same amount of time and she'll be the only red one when we're done. Happy Father's Day song. Snap 'n' the Cheek. And thi...

This is the Siamese Twins rock formation with Pike's Peak behind us. I love spending time with my parents! Here we are at Fish Lake in Utah. I do have pants on, they're just tucked up inside the Bjorn. Look how smart I am! I can read all by myself! Tyson and Heather Hill. Cute Katie Moments Part 2. Just the two of...

Highlights from the Hills: February 2009
http://tysonandheatherhill.blogspot.com/2009_02_01_archive.html
Highlights from the Hills. Tuesday, February 10, 2009. Well, I guess it is time for an update from the Hills! 160;Things are pretty much the same. I go to work, do homework, and then go to school. Tyson flies and gets things done around the house. We are not terribly exciting people right now! 160;The biggest change in our lives is that I got strep throat and had to take four days off of work in two weeks. While I've enjoyed being able to spend time with Tyson, I miss my preschoolers!

Snap 'n' the Cheek: April 2015
http://cheeksandlogan.blogspot.com/2015_04_01_archive.html
Snap 'n' the Cheek. First comes love. . . Thursday, April 16, 2015. Who knew it would be tropical in the summer and Arctic in the winter here? Not us. But, there's a reason for all these beautiful lakes around here! And look who started Kindergarten! Man, she was beyond ready and excited. I teared up, but how could I be anything but excited for her when she was like that? We enjoyed a rainy day at the James J. Hill Mansion and then to Culver's to enjoy some custard and fried cheese curds. Yum! Yep, that'...

Highlights from the Hills. Wednesday, April 7, 2010. Katie Sue, picaboo! Here are a few more pictures of Katie during our stay at the hospital. She was eyes wide open right after birth. I think she has blue eyes. Katie's first bath. Suprisingly, she kind of enjoyed this. The nurse had to be very careful with the back of her head though because of the bruising caused by the vacuum extraction at birth. Katie's first diaper. Daddy did a pretty good job if I do say so myself! Finally, it was time to go home!

Howe Family: October 2008
http://jesseandalyssahowe.blogspot.com/2008_10_01_archive.html
Tuesday, October 14, 2008. We had a big birthday weekend for Jesse. Friday afternoon we had a little party. I made Jesse a cake. It had his favorite, cool whip, frosting. He got a few gifts: a coat, a shirt, and "Ironman" on DVD. Then that evening we ate at Wingers with Jesse's family. It's Jesse's favorite restaurant (sorry Jason, as it is your birthday also, next year you can pick the restaurant). He even got free concrete pie! Jesse getting the fastest time (out of 6 races) on the drag racing course.
