Strength does not come from physical capacity. It comes from indomitable will. -Mahatma Gandhi. December 31, 2016. It’s a cycle. Once you are in it, it’s practically impossible to escape it. It’s a positive feedback loop. It started with a simple sugar check skip. It turned into two skips a day. Then it turned into not checking my sugar at all. When someone asked me about my diabetes, my robotic, pre-rehearsed answer would could out stating, Yup! Things are all good! What was I doing wrong? Is it my diet?

Wednesday, April 15, 2009. New Friends for Kerstin! Today my mom and I went to the DI. I went to the kid section, and I was looking at the toys when I saw the American Girl doll Samantha! I was so surprised! I picked her up and looked at the tag.I thought it said $100, but then I remembered that your supposed to look at the bottom to know what the price was. I looked, and it only said 50 cents! I had just barely earned $4! My mom said the lady that was putting the tags on did not know what she was doing!
