Mi Viaje a Mexico. Thursday, May 29, 2008. This afternoon I returned to the boarding school. Francisco was napping on the playground so I played with a group of girls who enjoyed calling me “Kiwi” it’s the same word in English and Spanish, lucky me. We ran all over the playground playing “eres” or tag. I also learned some Spanish hand-cheers which was very fun. I will write more this weekend. Ok, Peace :). Mi Viaje a Mexico. Sunday, June 1, 2008. Friday, I went to school with Gaby again. I spent the first half of the day in a 1st grade classroom. If you look at my pics you can see the kids celebrating one of the boy’s birthdays with a piñata. The second half of the day I was in a 2nd grade class. Some of the things I love about him are:. How he scatters his food around the apartment and saves it for later. His food dish is in the kitchen but he won't eat in the kitchen because of the tile floor. So instead he takes each bite of food into the living room area and eats it one-by-one on the carpet. The crockpot saves me loads of time and hassle when preparing dinner after a long day at the office. Some of my favorite dishes to make in the crockpot are:. Spaghetti Sauce with meatballs. Just My Everyday Life. Monday, July 28, 2008. I'm flying to Buffalo on Friday for the weekend and I'm not looking forward to getting there. I hate flying for two reasons, 1) Because I'm afraid of crashing and 2) Because I get really, really airsick. When I do fly somewhere, I always have rituals to help me in remaining calm:. I don’t know what I’m working on, what will come out of it, just going in weekly to create. I am leaving the country in a week, for a three week trip that is one part self designed creative retreat and one part family visit.
