Whip your legs out, without the prospect of frostbite. But there are some downsides to the summer time. So I thought I would share with you, some of my summer highs and lows. (aka a bit of a moan). There's not much that can beat a creamy, proper Devonshire ice cream! Except perhaps Italian gelato. mmm. I don't know why but food even tastes fresher in the summer...

Sunday, 19 July 2015. Recipe: Frozen Yoghurt Bars. I'm not much of a cook. I can chuck things in the oven, whip up a tasty salad, and I do make the best sweet potato fries (if I do say so myself.) but I'm not a domestic goddess by any standards. I love to bake. I'm quite good at baking cookies, rocky road and frosted cupcakes, but they aren't very healthy, scrap that. they aren't healthy at all. Pretty tasty though! So I have been trying to incorporate some healthier recipes, in to my culinary arsenal.

Woensdag 2 juli 2014. Wat een dag. 52 km. vandaag! Het plan was om gisteren (dinsdag) om 6 uur te vertrekken. Dit werd door omstandigheden 7.45 uur. Nog op tijd. Doel is 48 km. lopen. Amersfoort-Ermelo en weer terug. Vol goede moed begin ik de wandeling vanuit huis. Het weer is prachtig, heerlijk om te lopen.
