Sunday, February 27, 2011. Basically the program is to eat 1 lb of raw vegetables, 1 lb of cooked vegetables, 1 cup of beans or tofu, and at least 4 fresh fruit every day. In fact, I can eat even more of all of those things up to unlimited. I can also have some nuts and whole grains each day. No animal products are allowed. So how am I doing? Thursday, August 5, 2010. Monday we drove to Brugge, Belgium which is a quaint medieval city. It is the kind of place that you just want to stay and explore because it had so many interesting buildings and spaces. This morning I was doing my physical therapy exercises (I haven't done them for two weeks) and while I was stretching my left arm I thought, I bet I can touch my fingers and sure enough I could. Sunday, January 17, 2010. I felt good again this week, second week in a row that I've felt good! This is the first time in months that I've felt this good, I'm starting to feel normal again (except for the fact that I don't have full range of motion in my arms). I know that it's the Prednisone that is helping me feel better. Next week the Prednisone dose is cut in half, I hope that I still feel good and can move around fairly pain free.
