A New Journey: August 2009
http://journeyrhuston.blogspot.com/2009_08_01_archive.html
Sunday, August 30, 2009. The first week of classes was a little overwhelming. It's been difficult for me to get back into the swing of things after such a great summer, but it's got to be done. This semester I am taking Dreams as a Resource for Pastoral Care, Church History 1, and Christian Ethics. I think my favorite class is going to be Dreams followed by Ethics. It looks like this semester is going to keep me busy with lots of school work, but I'll get through it one step at a time. End of Summer Blues.

We'll be painting the living room and dining room this weekend. The El Salvador posting will come soon! In the mean time enjoy looking at the pictures. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). A New Journey: November 2007
http://journeyrhuston.blogspot.com/2007_11_01_archive.html
Monday, November 5, 2007. I enjoyed a great weekend with my family! The first worship service at Fall Convocation went well last night and I enjoyed seeing people I hadn't seen in a while. I think the scholarship testimony went well too. The only think is that I could barely see over the podium I was standing at. Oh well! No, I didn't finish my EVM. Paper last Thursday like I wanted to, but I'm on page 11 now and I'm shooting for 15-16 pages. I'll knock it out today! I'm super excited about this!

A New Journey: A bittersweet ending!!
http://journeyrhuston.blogspot.com/2011/05/bittersweet-ending.html
Tuesday, May 10, 2011. It's hard to believe that I have completed all of the coursework for McAfee. Almost, four years ago I began this wild roller coaster of a ride. Though there have been many ups and downs these past four years, my time at McAfee has ended on a good note. A memorable moment of McAfee was created today. The love and support of the community was affirmed for me once again. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. Through The Camera Lens. Emily Jane's Great Big World.

A New Journey: End of Summer Blues
http://journeyrhuston.blogspot.com/2009/08/end-of-summer-blues.html
Sunday, August 23, 2009. End of Summer Blues. This has been one of the best summers of my life and I hate to see it end, however, as the saying goes "All good things must come to an end." I began the summer by chaperoning the children to camp at the end of May. In June, Julia and I took a trip to see Christina in Virginia. Later in June, Ben and I went with HHBC. In July, my brother and I traveled to Houston, Texas for the CBF. As I look back on the summer I am grateful for the much needed time away from...

Monday, October 29, 2007. The word of the day is OVERWHELMED! I'll let you know if I reach the goal or not. This weekend is CBF/GA Fall Convocation in Savannah. They will be recognizing the scholarship recipients, and I will be giving a brief testimony on Sunday night during the worship service. I've got to get working on that too. A New Journey: May 2009
http://journeyrhuston.blogspot.com/2009_05_01_archive.html
Wednesday, May 27, 2009. Our backpacking trip was TONS of fun! We woke up early Saturday morning to head to Panther's Creek. We arrived around 9:30 and began hiking about 10:00. We arrived to our campsite 45 minutes later and began to setup camp. After camp was setup we decided to go for a walk to explore what was around, and we ended up hiking to Panther Creek Falls. Our home in the wilderness! Jamie relaxing in the hammocks Ben brought along! Here I am trying my hand at fishing! After this we gathered ...

A New Journey: April 2009

Tuesday, April 28, 2009. Excitement on the Drive Home. It turns out that the police put spikes in the road to stop the tractor trailer. It had stopped just above Forsyth. It turns out that the tractor trailer was stolen at a Kroger in Fulton county and the owner of the rig jumped on the back of it. It wasn't stopped until Monroe county. You can find out more about it here. Monday, April 20, 2009. Weekend Events and Health Report. Ben and I had an excellent weekend together! A book of great symbolism).
