Keeping Me Honest

Sunday, 7 October 2012. We saw so many species at Delamere that I couldn't possibly actually do an entry on each one - partially because I'm not sure that any one person got a full species list. I can, however, do entries on the ones I got good pictures of. One of those species is Calocera viscosa. Which has a few common names including yellow staghorn, staghorn jelly, jelly antler, yellow false coral and yellow tuning fork. We were lucky enough to find a fantastic looking one:. Keeping Me Honest: It's a TRAP!

http://www.keeping-me-honest.blogspot.com/2012/10/its-trap.html

Thursday, 4 October 2012. This afternoon I popped over to The Barn Countryside Centre in Manchester for a couple of hours. This afternoon's activity with the Greater Manchester Ecology Unit was laying out traps for checking tomorrow. Firstly we were introduced to two different traps - Longmans (top), which I've already talked about before (and got a picture of this time! And tube traps (bottom):. Tomorrow morning, we'll get to see what turns up! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile.

Keeping Me Honest: June 2012

http://www.keeping-me-honest.blogspot.com/2012_06_01_archive.html

Thursday, 21 June 2012. I've tried blogging before and I've never been good at it. Not because I can't write, but because I always find an excuse to put things off or not to. See, I've realised something. A friend of mine is keeping a blog to help improve his life - to lose weight, set goals, all sorts ( http:/ tohitarseclass0.blogspot.co.uk. Well, if it's written down in black and white, surely it will be easier to keep honest, right? I did look at the jobs on jobs.ac.uk, however, I really don't...Howev...

Keeping Me Honest: Hmph.

http://www.keeping-me-honest.blogspot.com/2012/10/hmph.html

Friday, 5 October 2012. Sadly, there's no follow up on the traps from yesterday. The (usually incredibly reliable) car wouldn't start this morning. Here's hoping that the OH can sort it for tomorrow. On the bright side, I really needed to do some business-type stuff. So I did that instead. The time hasn't been lost, at least, but I can't help but feel I've really missed out. I was really looking forward to it too. Oh well. Keep on swimming. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile.

Keeping Me Honest: Green Alkanet + Update

http://www.keeping-me-honest.blogspot.com/2012/10/green-alkanet-update.html

Wednesday, 3 October 2012. This week is turning out to be quite busy. Not only did I do my day at Record this week, and I'm in work (and working outside of work too), but I've also got two mammal trapping days and. A fungi day on Saturday. Big week, so expect some updates later in the week and across the weekend. Look at that stem! It's scientific name has stuck in my head ever since I heard it; literally translated, it means "five-tongues always alive" (or five-tongues evergreen). Green Alkanet has ...

Keeping It Sweet

Wednesday, 6 May 2015. My Best Friend and My Soul Mate. Today I want to talk about someone very dear to me who I will always have a special place for in my heart. My best friend. Today is her birthday, so I wanted to publish this post as one of my gifts to her. I cannot wait to see her (very soon I hope! So I can give her the rest of her gifts, but I quickly realised that there is only so much that you can write in a card before you run out of room! What is a friend? But what is a best friend? Along the ...

All things tight N Sexy

All things tight N Sexy. Tuesday, 8 March 2011. Its been a while but I thought that I would update. I was watching 'Rude Tube' (youtube clip show on channel 4) and they showed this clip. And I remembered why I love Lycra singlets so much. They look so great on a guy, and they feel so good on. When I wear a singlet I can wear it under anything, and in any weather. Its not too hot. and i can feel Lycra on the top and bottom of my body, amazing feeling. It was that very suit that I brought and I loved it.

Keeping up with jones. This box of stills : losing my watch. This box of stills : losing my watch. Photo by kwesi abbensetts). The moments i get high from breathing sun dust and thick clouds. The sun's position is crowning. The opening is 7 centimeters dilated. And i've left my watch at home for a good reason. Nothing real about it. There is no minute ago. And everything that happens when this poem ends can be stacked on top of everything written before this poem became a thought. Time is a concept.

Men Health

Friday, July 23, 2010. I am 10 years of fighting with balanitis. I have been suffering from balanitis 10 years, the glans and foreskin Department recurring ulcers, the surface layer of white material into a paste, very itchy. Oral ulcers also occurred two years ago, doctors suspected "Behcet's disease." Is this how the matter should be treated? 1 To maintain local hygiene, to avoid stimulation. 2 Infection significantly and fever, swollen lymph nodes, could antibiotic treatment. Misunderstanding 1: Chron...

Keeping My Words

I put a padlock on my room when I was a teenager. Because I didn't trust my parents. I didn't have anything in there to hide. It just bothered me that they'd rifle through stuff. One of them would throw things out too. "Cleaning." (How about 'Cleaning" while I'm there? And why "clean" the things that were neat? Oh that's right… because 'since things were neat and clean I obviously didn't use them! Do I sound bitter? I am Funny how things hang around. Certainly THAT was a reason to be suspicious! Our camp...
