Keeping Home: February 2013

Notes from our weekly ladies' meeting in Ferguson, Missouri! Thursday, February 21, 2013. Last week, we began talking about hospitality. Here are a few things we touched on:. Our homes are a stewardship from the Lord to use as he would have us use them, while the world tells us they are our escape, our palace and kingdom, something to build to comfort and please ourselves. Keeping Home: March 2013
http://keepinghomenotes.blogspot.com/2013_03_01_archive.html
Notes from our weekly ladies' meeting in Ferguson, Missouri! Wednesday, March 27, 2013. The simple things - Titus 2:4-5 again. I once heard a sister speak at a ladies' gathering. She started by saying she was going to share with the sisters on following the Lord, and she would NOT be going to Titus 2. Everyone did that, she halfway lamented. I don't remember how far she got before she realized she really did need to go to Titus 2! What is the big deal? It is just this big, round thing called the world.

Chris' Spontaneous Cancer
Sunday, December 16, 2007. I have had two doctor visits since my last treatment. The first was with my radiation doctor. She looked down my throat and said that it looks like the tumor is totally gone and no signs of cancer at this stage and everything is healing up quite well, yet is still very swollen. Lots of phlem, but that is to be expected. All in all a very good report! Merry Christmas to everyone and thanks for your prayers and support. Sunday, November 11, 2007. Superman is Human After All!

Keeping Home
Notes from our weekly ladies' meeting in Ferguson, Missouri! Monday, October 28, 2013. Where has the year gone? Here it is the end of October. What a year so far, and it's not done yet. For God to be God, he has to know all of the details of my family, your family, and everyone's family. That is hard to believe, isn't it? Well, it's not if you think of the evidence he left us. If you are considering a contractor to do work on your house, you look at his past work. You want someone you can trust. It's not...
