But we had a wonderful Barnyard party to celebrate the big day, complete with a petting zoo and pony rides! Thursday, November 1, 2012. I know, I am horrible at updating this thing! But hopefully I will make up for it with pictures today :). Sawyer Michael joined our family at 4:16 pm Friday October 26. He weighed 6 lbs 8oz and was 20 1/4in long. He is perfect! The girls were in love at first sight. He is the perfect addition to our family. We have been adjusting to having a newborn in the house again, but we could not be happier. He fits in perfectly and I cant imagine life without him! Sit back and enjoy :).

Sunday, November 27, 2011. Last year we got the girls the Elf On The Shelf. If you have never heard of it, its a little elf that you put in your house and each night he (or she! Reports back to Santa on if the kids have been good or not! And then each morning he is in a new spot in your house so the kids have to find it each morning! When you first get your elf you have to give it a name, and Sam named ours Sprinkles! And we got her a skirt, so our elf is a girl :). Sprinkles left a note for the girls.

Tuesday, April 26, 2011. Easter was so much fun with Sam this year! I think she finally 'got' how to hunt for eggs, and she had so much fun doing it! Here are the girls' Easter baskets. Sunday morning when she woke up we had a basket right outside the door so she could grab it and go look for eggs! Of course she noticed her basket first so we had to convince her looking for eggs was more fun than going through her basket full of goodies! We hid them in such hard places. LOL). Another egg hunt for Sam.

Monday, April 25, 2011. Hope everyone had a wonderful Easter! Ours was a simple but beautiful day. Saturday night we had our annual Easter Egg Dying Contest. It was so fun! We did the whole thing via skype with my parents so we got to brag as usual as we were dipping and seeing what we thought was about to be the "winning egg".
