Keeping up with the Algers. Saturday, August 20, 2011. Listen to What I Say, Not What Think (A Lesson in Teaching Your Children and Learning a Few Things Along the Way). For comparison sake, allow me to brief you first on the characteristics of the prerace routine for my best half marathon thus far. I did the training, though not as much as I should have. Keeping up with the Algers: February 2011

http://www.keepingupwiththealgers.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html

Keeping up with the Algers. Monday, February 28, 2011. Just Under the Wire. Highlights of the month:. No 10 minutes of coaxing, only to end with one lifeguard lowering him down into the arms of the other, while the other parents with dare devil children give you the sympathetic "I'm sure he'll do it next time" look. Way to go Isaac! I'm not sure my body knows what to do at that time of the day, but I guess we'll see! Well, that takes care of February! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). I hope you enjoy our post...

Sunday, May 17, 2009. Jillian Michaels is ready to kick my butt. So why am I sharing all of this with you, you ask? So please check back to see how I'm doing as I will provide updates throughout the month and we'll see what happens. To start, we better get a hold of where I stand right now:. Keeping up with the Algers. Sunday, March 27, 2011. Look, Mom, no training wheels! Assumed it might take a little time to get the hang of it. Look, Mom, Dad took my training wheels off. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Welcome to the Alger Family Blog! Those of you who are up on reality TV have probably already figured out that I ripped off our Blog title from the Kardashians. No, I don't watch the show, but I found the title catching and appropriate for the hectic life we lead! I hope you enjoy our postings.

Keeping up with the Algers: Mr. Alger Goes to Washington

http://www.keepingupwiththealgers.blogspot.com/2010/06/mr-alger-goes-to-washington.html

Keeping up with the Algers. Wednesday, June 16, 2010. Mr Alger Goes to Washington. Without the tricky political plot, that is, although he and his group did have breakfast with Senator Franken and Congressman Walz. Did they engage in any political banter? I doubt it :) Steve has been sending pictures here and there, mainly to show Isaac that he does indeed still exist. Here are a few we've received:. Changing of the Guard at Arlington National Cemetery. He's there somewhere :). June 21, 2010 at 6:33 AM.

KO-CHO-RINA: Student Teaching

http://korrinapope.blogspot.com/2011/06/student-teaching.html

Life is 10% what happens to you, and 90% what you do with what happens to you. Wednesday, June 8, 2011. I received my first student teacher placement for this coming fall. I will be teaching 6th grade in Cleveland, MN. I excited that I will be so close to home, and a little scared of working with 6th graders. They are intimidating to me, so I hope all goes well. June 8, 2011 at 2:46 PM. You will be an awesome teacher to 6th graders, heck any-graders :). June 11, 2011 at 5:50 PM. June 18, 2011 at 2:25 PM.

KO-CHO-RINA: Day 2...it made me miss her!

http://korrinapope.blogspot.com/2012/01/day-2it-made-me-miss-her.html

Life is 10% what happens to you, and 90% what you do with what happens to you. Thursday, January 12, 2012. Day 2it made me miss her! I went to work last night hoping that It would get my mind off of her. When I went to work I had co-workers hug me and express their sympathy. We talked about our dogs and it was nice to know that there were other people that loved their pups just as much as we loved Lucy. I hosted a Pizza Night at my work and had a great evening laughing with everyone. This morning brought...

Life is 10% what happens to you, and 90% what you do with what happens to you. Thursday, January 8, 2015. A couple people I know are doing a 365 day photo challenge and I find myself waiting to see the pictures that they post each day. I think this is the coolest idea and thought that I too would try this. Well, it is day 8 and I only have 1 photo to share. So my next goal? Well, that is to do a 52 week photo challenge. So here is to hoping I have another one to post by the 15th. Bill, miss and brood.

Life is 10% what happens to you, and 90% what you do with what happens to you. Friday, January 13, 2012. Tonight Brad and I are going on a date to Olive Garden. We got a gift card for Christmas, so tonight we are going to use it! We started Date Night back in November. We agreed that we would go out every other Friday, just the two of us. I'm really looking forward to this tradition because a lot of the times I work weird hours and we don't always get to see each other. Yay, for DATE NIGHT! Crowley is so...

Keeping Up With The Kendalls

Keeping Up With The Kendalls. Tuesday, November 1, 2011. This little band played "Old Mcdonald Had a Farm". Austin was in heaven listening to the animal band play. They had this Hay bounce. I think it was just a tramp covered in hay but, Aus had so much fun bouncing around on it! Looking a little bored. There wasn't a whole lot for her to do. The pumpkin princess gave Austin some candy. I couldn't decide which picture I liked best so. I put them both up! Livi being so good in her stroller. This picture m...

Keeping Up With the Allens

Keeping Up With the Allens. We’ve had an unusually crazy winter this year – typical winters for us are filled with trips to the mountains, ski vacations and chasing the next snow storm. This winter threw us off with a difficult childcare transition, Alex’s job search and the intense preparations that went into getting ready for interviews, and me being pregnant. So! We made an impromptu decision to head to Arizona for what will probably be our last vacation as a family of three. With Alex’s family. Later...

Wednesday, September 12, 2012. After a Long Journey, Miami Heat Center Mickell Gladness Hopes to Stick in South Beach. Miami Heat center Mickell Gladness didn't have the easiest road to South Beach-but now he's found his way back. After graduating from Alabama A&M with a career 396 blocks, Gladness saw the 2008 NBA draft come and go without a mention of his name. A defensive gem seemed to have fallen through the cracks, but that didn't deter him from pursuing his career as pro basketball player. Until th...
