Sunday, January 27, 2008. Last night we went to Buffalo Wild Wings for some beer and (of course) wings. We also competed in the trivia challenge and left with the first place win and full stomachs. We held the lead for the majority of the competition but a player known only as BGJHSN (real original huh? Started to close in on our projected victory. Luckily, we risked everything on the final question and successfully edged out our phallic obsessed competitor. Friday, January 25, 2008. I put my craft skill...

An often times humorous glance into the life of a small town family. Wednesday, October 29, 2008. Time for our annual festive halloween pumpkins. Calvin had a good time this year actually helping us carve them (with safe cutters, of course) and also making his very own pumpkins with some pieces that you just pushed into the pumpkin to make faces. it was very fun. When we were done, we had a lot of pumpkins to display on our front porch. Adam, Barb and Cal. Saturday, October 25, 2008. Adam, Barb and Cal.

An often times humorous glance into the life of a small town family. Wednesday, December 24, 2008. Christmas eve is finally here. cal is very excited for what will happen tonight and in the morning. We, of course, being the little family of procrastinators that we are, put off making our cookies until the last possible second, so we spent the evening making cookies for santa and getting the carrots ready for the reindeer. Keeping Up With the Joneses

Keeping Up With the Joneses. Tuesday, February 24, 2009. Softball tryouts were Saturday. I was really worried about Mattie's performance and how she'd react if she didn't perform to the standards she'd set for herself. We were in shock! Not that we didn't think she was capable, but you've got to remember, this baby has never played softball in her life. We've always cheered and tumbled! Every single coach on the field asked her how long she'd been playing softball. (Potential coaches were on the fiel...

Keeping up with the Jones'. Monday, September 10, 2012. I have a love hate relationship with Fall. I hate back to school. I hate the schedule of going to bed early and waking up early. I hate that it gets dark so early. I hate when the irrigation turns off and I frantically try to. Keep my grass green as my water bill goes up. I love the Fall activities on the horizon of :. Windows open at night sleeping. And my fav holiday - Halloween. I have had a harder time adjusting to it this year for some reason.

Jonesie Bug & Freddie Bear

Thursday, August 13, 2015. A Baby No More. There's a song in the musical "Ragtime" called " Back to Before. It's one of my favorites, talking about how, once you've been exposed to one way of thinking you can never again think the way you previously thought. That's what I was singing to myself when it was 9:30 last nite, and Jones had been in bed for two hours but still hadn't fallen asleep. Jeremy asked, "Should we just put the crib back together? We can NEVER go back to be-foooorrreeee.". That's when J...

Keeping Up with the Jones' in India. Thursday, 23 May 2013. Final Blog – Incredible India! Sadly, this will be our last blog about our time in India. We can’t believe where the year has gone; we can still remember writing the very first one from the Oberoi Hotel in New Delhi last May. We started writing this during our time in Goa after spending. 2 days back at the Oberoi in Delhi whilst Neil completed his debriefs at the British High Commission – we seem to have come full circle! Friday, January 6, 2017. Christmas and New Years in Alabama. Pattie made this stocking for our son Chris. She has her list and checking it twice. Pattie did a great job helping cook a traditional Christmas dinner on Christmas Eve and a beef roast on Christmas Day. Our son’s William and Chris came up to visit and William brought his girlfriend Rachel. We basically over ate, exchanged gifts, and celebrated Christ’s birth as many American families do each year. They loaded it up in the ATV and picked me up.
