Wednesday, April 25, 2012. Leighton is 4 Months! A little late but Leighton turned 4 months on April 13. Leighton weighed in at 16 lbs, 3 oz at her checkup and is 25 inches tall. She is in the 85% for her weight and 70% for her height, all in all she is very healthy little girl! Thursday, April 12, 2012. I think she looks just like her daddy these days but as I've seen with Karly that can definitely change. I love that she is ALWAYS happy and smiling.it's the best thing ever! Tuesday, June 19, 2012. Leighton is 6 Months! 6 months has never gone by so fast! I've been waiting to do a post until we went to the doctor and Leighton had her 6 month check up today. I love our pediatrician and we've gotten to know him well now after seeing him for 3 1/2 years. She is 27 inches long and weighs 18 lbs 14 oz. Her head is 16.75 inches. Friday, March 29, 2013. We are so blessed this Easter and I'm so glad that Karly (and soon Leighton) will know the true meaning of Easter. Thursday, February 21, 2013. Well I am 2 months behind on this but better late than NEVER! Leighton's birthday falls right in the middle of holiday craziness so unfortunately her birthday post got pushed aside too. But we definitely celebrated (more than once)! A few things about our sweet little Leighton. We call you Laylay. You LOVE milk and ask for it all day long (by signing milk). You had no problem giving up your bottle! These Are Days to Remember...

After General Conference in April 2012, my Mom called me excited about all of the things she had learned from watching and listening to our church leaders. Getting to church was always difficult for her but she would watch BYUtv every Sunday for her "church". General Conference was an extra treat for her. Two days of church and two days of guidance from her Heavenly Father. I hope she knows that I understand. I hope she feels relief from the pains that inflicted her.
