http://www.keepingupwiththesejones.blogspot.com/p/steffani.html
A little glimpse into our happy corner of the world, where these two Joneses are living happily ever after! Hi, I'm Steffani! New mommy-to-be to our sweet little Bulgarian angel! I'm 25 years old, married to the man of my dreams for over 2 years, mom of our furbaby Maycee, nanny to the 2 cutest girls you've ever seen. I'm saved by grace and in love with Jesus. I'm a crafter, diy-er, lover of music (especially bluegrass), fashion, Jane Austin novels, and I'm addicted to painting my nails. Follow Us On FB.

A little glimpse into our happy corner of the world, where these two Joneses are living happily ever after! Monday, July 29, 2013. Well, camp meeting is over, and we are back in full home-study swing! The week was wonderful and it was SO good to see so many of my best friends and family! EXACTLY what we needed for our home study. At this point someone asked me, "Can you believe that God sent you the exact amount that you needed for that step? To which I replied "At this point, OF COURSE! Exciting times a...

A little glimpse into our happy corner of the world, where these two Joneses are living happily ever after! Thursday, June 27, 2013. Welcome to what I'm certain will be the story of our lives for the next, oh, two years or so! If you ask me if I mind though, the answer is a definite NO! Because I know on the other side of this mountain of paper work, and the small headache of dealing with government agencies, will be our sweet little angel waiting for us! And we can't wait! If you can't tell! Once we com...

Provision of Our Father {guest post}. Before we finally decided to take the leap and commit to adoption, I was following a blog called. Jillian, the author, writes in amazing detail of the adoption of their adorable. Son Arie, and life since. I have held the hope of having her guest post since I started the blog and. The day has come! That so many of you will be able to relate. Outwardly I praised his memory, but inwardly I felt a familiar sense of hollow as I reflected for perhaps the hundredth time on ...

Where Feet May Fail: Part One. This is not the post you were originally going to get. To start, life has been so hectic lately. Ryan has been working his behind off all summer; between mowing and his normal duty week, he is never home. I don't know how he does it and I am so thankful that I have a husband that works so hard to provide for his (future) family! I haven't been on a river since I moved to Oklahoma in 2003! The water looks green here, but it wasn't really. I was surprised how clear it was!

This week has been full. The hospital I have been nurse tech-ing at asked me to stay on in the birth center and the emergency department during the last two semesters of school. Both of these areas were my top choices and I am beyond excited that they have given me this opportunity! This week also brought forth a couple fundraising opportunities. I joined Thirty-One. Purchase items for gifts, or for yourself. Host a party (you can do this online, in home or what's called a catalog party. What one may lac...
Raised From the Water: FAQs

Why can't you have your own children? First, let’s address positive adoption language. And do not ovulate. On my own. Previously, I've been on medication to help me ovulate but my body did not respond. The next route would have been more drugs (injections) leading to an increased chance of conceiving multiples. Because I only have half a uterus, the chance for miscarriage is high (even with cerclage and bed rest), and there would be no way I could carry multiples. Who is all my own. The children that are...

Raised From the Water: Sunday Supplication
http://www.raisedfromthewater.com/2013/09/sunday-supplication.html
I know, this isn't part two of my last post.it is coming, I promise! Keep coming back. :). Because the process of adoption brings most of us to our knees daily, often repeatedly throughout the day, I thought it fitting to begin a weekly post titled "Sunday Supplication" in which I post our weekly prayer requests. I must admit that sadly, this is not my original idea. The BRILLIANT Jillian. From over at Adding a Burden. So, as Jillian. I am asking the same of you. If you have read my last post, you know t...

Keeping Up With The Schafer's
Friday, November 7, 2008. Halloween was a spooky-good time this year! Emma was a Southern Bell. Jack was a pirate. And Sam went as a viscious lion. We trick-or-treated at Ed and Linda's house again, which is always fun. I love seeing everyone in their costumes and feeling all of the excitement. The kids had a fantastic time with their cousins, running from door to door, and made out like candy bandits. Maybe next year I'll dress up, too! Disneyland with the Schafer Clan. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Emma'...

Wednesday, March 31, 2010. Hailey is now 8 years old! Wow, where has the time gone? She is doing good in school and we are so proud of her. Justin Bieber is the new "in thing" in this house for the girls. That's all we hear is them singing and the radio up sooo loud that you can hear it from a thousand miles away! Madison has lost her first two teeth! The tooth fairy will be a busy fairy in this house soon! The kids were good for the most part. It was nice to spend time with my mom.
