Thursday, August 28, 2014. Last weekend was low key for us. Just trying to hold on to summer while we can. We did our usual. This week seems long. We broke it up by going to dinner with GiGi and Pop one night. We went to our favorite place on the water, The Landing. It was so nice out that we could sit outside. Loved the evening and the mild weather we have been having. And I have to shout out to Lacey and Mickey. Today is their 10th. 10 years is a land mark! What a special occasion! August 28, 1974.

Wednesday, December 31, 2014. I am remembering last year that I made a list of things I wished to accomplish at our house in 2014. The main things I wanted to get done were dressing the naked living room/kitchen windows, as well as the very empty wall where our TV is. Also on the list was a fire place mantel. WELL, I am happy to say that I accomplished 2 out of 3 goals on the list. He did good though. Found a soft ikat pattern fabric for the panels and my Marmy sewed them and I am very pleased. Thursday, August 6, 2015. So now we are into August? This has been the quickest summer ever! We have been working during the week, and Staycationing around LKN during the weekends and it is going by so quick! Swan at Yaya and Poppi's. Train day with Abuelo. Snow cones with Gigi and Pop. Thursday, November 20, 2014. More than half of the month of November has passed without a single post. Lets see, what have we been up to? Not a whole lot. Last weekend was fun though. My aunt Linda and husband Fred came to visit. They went to the Panther's/Falcons game. Very good to see them always! Saturday Brighton got to go to the Marvel's Heros show with Gigi and Pop. He saw all of his favorite super heros in action! I know he loved it! Michael sang her heart out as well. Didn't do much singing.

Wednesday, June 24, 2015. Our Father's Day weekend was filled up with fun activities involving dads! We spent some of the weekend at Kelly and Craig's with Max and Connie. Had a nice lunch and went out on Max's boat for a couple of hours. The Flantley O's (we have decided to combine this name rather constantly saying Antley's and Flowe's) along with Donna took DB out to eat by boat on Sunday. Lovely day. Love all of our dads! Wednesday, August 19, 2015. The boy's last day of the summer program at the preschool was last week. Sad as it was Brighton's last day there. He said his good byes. We finally got Brighton's. School letter. His 1st day will be Monday, August 24th. His teacher is Mrs. Roper. I cannot tell if he is excited or not. He doesn't really talk about it. Summer days, drifting away. Tuesday, July 21, 2015. We just had back to back visits from wonderful family and friends. The Kisgens (minus Patrick) came for Unity Presbyterian VBS. The kids (who were of age) had a blast all week. We all enjoyed spending time with everyone. Dinners and slumber parties. Fun stuff! It was just THAT big of an special occasion. Maybe next time Asher! After we said goodbye to the Kisgens we were joined by the Johnsons! Vera and Baylor are just soooo cute together! 25 Years and Counting! Links to this post.
