Keepin' up with the krols. Wednesday, November 19, 2014. Well, I guess it's winter! Being outside you'd think it's January, but we haven't even had Thanksgiving yet! The last few days we've been blasted with snow, wind, and cold. But, I wasn't going to let that stop me from my plans for an overnight solo getaway! Last Thursday Mike found out that he wouldn't have to come back to work until this Thursday - I was thinking maybe we should do an impromptu family trip, but he suggested to go away by myself!

Keepin' up with the krols. Thursday, July 2, 2015. We're HOME, and boy does it feel good. We moved home on Saturday, and now, finally, yesterday (Wednesday), I could say that the main floor is clean. Phew! Of course, there are plenty of things in the house to deal with as a result of this project: a couple leaky pipes, doors stuck shut, doors that won't shut, lots of cracks in the walls; not to mention the bigger things that still need to be completed! Having our "babies" grow into 4 year olds has meant so many more adventures. We celebrated these soon to be newlyweds. We built these for a Mother's Day gift. We grilled and had smores.
