Tuesday, May 5, 2009. On Saturday Donovan, Ethan, Quinn and Riley got to go to a Football Clinic put on by the Utah Valley Thunder. For those of you that don't know what they are (I'm guessing most don't, especially since this is their first year), they are a semi-pro Arena Football team. This is all the boys, coach and teammates together in the middle of the field, going over the drill stations. Each boy was put in a group and they learned different fundementals of the game. Sunday, August 17, 2008. A small bump in the road. Brandon has been really active this past week with football practice (no pads or any type of physical contact), and a little bit of soccer. He has really regained a lot of stamina. He is almost back to being able to keep up at the same pace he was before the accident. He is amazing! It's hard to believe, but the doctors say that it might be possible for him to play football mid to end of September. I have to admit, it scares me a bit.

Thursday, July 31, 2008. So yesterday i went to the eye doctor for my yearly check-up and guess what i still have 20/20! Im so glad i wont have to do it again for another year though i hate it when people mess with their eyes let alone mine! But it made me feel good that so far i don't have my mom's or my dads eyes i got lucky and i have my grandpa's eyes which were almost perfect till he was 78 and even then it was because of his strokes that he lost his sight. so lets hope i keep his good eyes.

Sunday, August 10, 2008. Thank you emergency responders! My dad helped us prepare a picture to present them and Brandon prepared a few words to say. It was so wonderful to be able to have to have the opportunity to recognize those wonderful volunteer firemen, police officers, and EMT's who were there at the scene of the accident. There is no way to ever repay them. I hope they know what a wonderful thing they did and how much we appreciate their service to help protect our community.

Monday, August 4, 2008. Compression Vest is in! Well, it is quiet at my house, so I'm going to take advantage of it by doing some brainless stuff. I can't believe the summer is over! Brandon is looking G R E A T! Jess may or may not have to get a custom fitted garment - he has an interum (? One right now - it will be determined on his next doc. visit whether or not he'll need a custom one. He's been wearing it a week and has already been able to tell a difference with his scarring. Pretty cool.

Monday, July 21, 2008. Monday, July 21, 2008. We did go to the family doc to address the lack of strength and feeling in his right arm. He referred him to a clinic in UVRMC in Provo.
